This is a clean and adaquate room in a good location at a fair price. The rooms were updated and well appointed. The beds were extremely firm and not comfortable for someone like me with a bad back. The host and hostest spoke little English but we did manage to communicate. The breakfasts were the same everyday, adaquate but not anything special. I would recommend this place for the dollar conscious traveler. We mistakenly selected this place instead of the Giotto B&B near Duomo, a place that other American friends gave rave reviews. Steve McClure ... This place would only accept Cash at checkout, not the Visa card that I made the reservation with. This should be explicit in the reservation process because cash is not always easy or inexpensively generated in Florence on short notice. ... Cash only!! ... Convenient and adaquate. Not anything special.
