This is a clean and adaquate room in a good location at a fair price. The rooms were updated and well appointed. The beds were extremely firm and not comfortable for someone like me with a bad back. The host and hostest spoke little English but we did manage to communicate. The breakfasts were the same everyday, adaquate but not anything special. I would recommend this place for the dollar conscious traveler. We mistakenly selected this place instead of the Giotto B&B near Duomo, a place that other American friends gave rave reviews.

This place would only accept Cash at checkout, not the Visa card that I made the
reservation with. This should be explicit in the reservation process because cash is not always easy or inexpensively generated in Florence on short notice.
