 The members of the staff, many of whom are young women from the various European countries, and speak several languages were unfailingly cheerful and eager to oblige. They urged visitors to take stroll up to the sixth-floor terrace, to see where the guests who arrived in the warmer weather enjoyed their breakfast. |
 Although it is not an elaborate hotel, the Hermitage offers from the terrace some of the best views in the city from the terrace of the Ponte Vecchio, the Arno river, the Duomo and the Palazzo della Signoria. Given its location, the efficient, helpful staff and its overall charm, the Hotel Hermitage may be one of the Florence best buys. Considering its location, price and terrace, Hotel Hermitage may be the best value in town. |
