By train:
Santa Maria Novella station is the main railway connection from and to Florence and it's only 200 meters far from our property. From the main exit of the station turn into Via Nazionale, the second road no the left is Via Faenza.
By car:
From the Highway (exit Firenze Nord or Firenze sud) follow the indications for "Centro-Stazione", turn into the ring road and drive around "Fortezza da Basso", turn into "Viale Spartaco Lavagnini", at the first stop-light turn right in "Via Santa Caterina D'Alessandria", continue in "Via Nazionale" until the Station and turn left at the round about. The Hotel Rex can arrange private parking in a nearby garage. Please let us know if you will be arriving by car so we may arrange parking. A small supplement is payable for this service.
By air:
The Air Terminal closest to Florence is Amerigo Vespucci Airport, only 2.5 Km far. Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport is 80 Km far (55 minutes by train). By Taxi is about 30 minutes. |
