Absolutely no problems atall - we took a taxi from the SMN railway station and arrived 15 minutes later - cost was 21 Euros ... I Parigi was as good as we hoped and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Of particular note, the mini bar in the room was very well stocked and very reasonably priced making it a most useful asset for our stay. ... Everything was organised and easy - the taxi arrived early (booked by I Parigi) and our early departure did not cause any fuss or problem to the staff. ... I think it should be made a little clearer that access to restaurants in the evening is not straightforward unless you take a taxi which will be expensive over a longer stay. ... I Parigi is a gem of a find - it provides the most superb accommodation together with a peaceful and beautiful setting for the days when Florence has taken its toll on your energy. An oasis in the bustle that is Florence and Italy!

The bus did not stop as we had requested and let us off about 1.5 stops down the road. We walked back to the nearest village, called I Parigi and they immediately came to get us. Excellent service! ... I Parigi is the perfect bed and breakfast. We have stayed in many in America and this one tops even those. ... The staff was helpful and friendly even as we waved good-bye. ... I Parigi is as close to Florence as you can be without being in the city and yet you feel like you are in the country when you are there. It is perfect for relaxation or as come-and-go place to explore Florence. ... You must stay here! It doesn't get any better than the I Parigi.

for guests that don`t have car, i believe it`s pretty difficult to climb the way from the street to the property, and it should be noted on the website ... a very nice place, private, convinient to the city, and to the highway. the stuff are realy nice, and do whatever it takes to make the stay enjoyable. a bit dissappointed from the breakfast ( should include some cheese, ham, fresh fruits, etc.)

Excellent and good value for money food provided.
The distance to town and ill acessibility by foot (steep hill) should be stated in the description of I Parigi. We have a baby with cot and there wasn't even a sidewalk on the road leading into Florence. ... Typical but higher class Tuscan residence providing all you need to enjoy a rural holiday with touch to an important Italian metropole.

In terms of directions, item 1, The bus info to Guluzzio were clear. However, there are several stops in Guluzzio (which we were unaware of) and we were not informed at which one we were to exit the bus. The ten minute walk mentioned in the internet info is irrelevent if you don't know which way to walk. HOWEVER, GUIDO WAS FANTASTIC! When we called he came down and picked us up. Also, because I am in a wheelchair, he drove us to the bus and picked us up each evening.
... We have recommended it to all our friends! Many even wanted the web site so they could look it up when they got home. Whenever, we go to Firrenza we will stay at I Parigi. We consider Guido a friend. ... The peace we found there before and after our busy days in Firrenza was priceless. ... YES! Mention the solitude, the silence, the vineyards and olive groves and that you can buy their wine and olive oil! Mention the long tree lined lane leading to the Iron security gate. Mention it was once a fortress (non Europeans love that 'castle, fortress thing'. I could go on and on. ... It was unbeleivable! Such solitude after the crowded tourist filled streets of the city. We stayed in the 'turret' with stair going to roof level so we could sit and watch the sun set over the Tuscan hills and the city of Florence. The room was extreemly large! Breakfast was on the logia and offered a wide varity of items.

I did not click an answer on the first question because I don't remember even reading the directions given. I took a taxi from the train station. It could have been noted which number bus to take from the station, as that turned out to be an easy alternative far less costly. I had asked for that information and never received a reply. ... It was the most elegant accomodations we had in all of our Italy stay, our absolute favorite. Marco could not have been more helpful. The furnishings were beautiful, the food top notch, and the surroundings were tranquil and serene. ... Marco arranged a taxi for us and was quick and efficient for check out. Very personable, too. ... Some people might like access to the bus transport information. I would have also liked to know about the church right across the way which was available for visiting. I hadn't left enough time in our plans to accomodate a visit, though I enjoyed the sound of their bells in the hills. ... Understated elegance. Serene, tranquil, romantic, historic estate with fabulous pool overlooking the picturesque hills. A short bus or taxi ride away from central historic Florence.

Having a shuttle every morning to downtown Florence gave us the option of just parking our car for a few days, a nice break from driving in the city. Also easy internet access allowed us to check in at home easily and economically. My daily visits with the resident cat also added to the ambience, and the views of the Tuscan hills was magnificent ... The wonderful people, especially Marco who went out of his way to guide us. ... Also not mentioned that this distance is a very steep and long hill from the main road to the property - difficult to ascend after a full day of sightseeing. Not a major problem, but it would be convenient if the property could offer guests transportation to/from the bus stop on the main road. ... A 14th century castle owned and run as a family concern. Setting was better than projected on website, i.e. its proximity and access into florence. (2 Euro's return to centre on bus)! Also plenty of onsite parking. Although satelite tv available no international channels. In room minibar very good prices, simple food available on request which was also well prepared ... The comments about the loaction being up a very steep hill is correct, you ideally need a car or be willing to walk up a very long steep hill. Bus stop at end of road (best way to get into florence). Swimming pool very cold (start June), needs a full summer to warm up. Setting beautiful, however the need to drive to get to resturants could be a problem, unless you book self catering option. Hosts very accomodating, Pizza and pasta dishes available at reasonable rates, Own wine also reasonable and good price. ... best location to enjoy florence but have instant access to rest of Tuscany. Bus into florence (drive to bottom of hill leave car for free and 2 Euro ride into centre!) easy access to main roads leading to Pisa, Sienna etc.
