Profile |
Set on the country hill of Bagno a Ripoli, close to the historical centre of Florence (about 5 km), and full immersed in an olive groves landscape, La Limonaia is a part of Villa Battaglia, a 15th century Manor House, that enjoys an extraordinary position overlooking the city of Florence and the surroundings hills. Villa Battaglia, completed in the early Fifteenth Century, and lived by important families during the Centuries, has been also the country residence of Galileo Galilei's family. |
During the 1998 La Limonaia (the lemon green hot house) has been completely restored and turned into a Bed and Breakfast. The owner took personally care of the property interiors with natural colours and the old family furniture. The romantic Italian style garden opens on a pleasant and evocative atmosphere through the countryside colours and flavours. |
In this marvellous framework there is La Limonaia Bed and Breakfast, an elegant home, particularly rich in comfort and elegance where the stylish classical of the furniture gives our house a special atmosphere. The owners of La Limonaia look forward to meeting you and are at your disposal to assist you in any way in order to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. |
