Some tips on arriving by car would be useful. Just something saying 'pull up outside the hotel and a driver will collect your car and take it to our garage'.

I received a very friendly welcome, a map of Florence and other information material and directions to the address where I had a meeting the next day.
...
Very fast check-out. My luggage was stored for me and when I retrieved it later that day this was done very speedily (I had a taxi waiting).
...
Friendly and welcoming - very good location with a wonderful roof terrace with a view of the Duomo.

Rooms were smaller than expected, but adequate. The air conditioning seemed to be set at a constant temperature, which was too warm. The only way to cool down was to turn it off, but then the unit kept making a rattling noise which was irritating. It was too noisy to open the window, so we just had to put up with it. Breakfast was pretty unexciting. This claims to be a 4* hotel. The service may be 4* but the hotel felt like a 3*, in my opionion.
