Warm and welcome reception. We felt right at home from the moment our host greeted us at the front door. ... Le tre Stanze was one of the best facilities we stayed at during a 3 week srtay in europe. The facility is very clean and comfortable. Location is perfect in central Firenze. Staff was great, fresh flowers were always placed in our room. We will definitely return to this property and highly recommend it to all of our friends. ... Check out was a breeze. ... Fabulous. Comfortable and very inviting. A wonderful place to stay.

The place is just beatiful, perfect location, perfectly stylish, uniquely decorated rooms. The owner Beny is a fascinating lady taking care of every little detail. Keep in mind this is not a regular hotel, therefore things may be a little slower than it would be with a regular hotel accomodation. But at the same time it's far more special than any regular hotel.(We ended up leaving some t-shirts behind because they wouldn't return from the laundry after 5 days, and we simply didn't notice and forgot, but it didn' even really matter because we had a unique and wonderful stay) Also beware of the bells of the duomo, if you have a light sleep, might be a problem in the morning. For us it was not a problem at all, it even added a mystical touch to our stay.

We were given breakfast only on the first morning and were given vouchers for a nearby establishment for breakfast on the other two days. This was a bit of a shame because we didn't actually get round to using them - it would have been much more convenient to eat at Le Tre Stanze. We understand that a member of staff was unavailable. ... Location, atmosphere, character and history - all perfect. A lovely place to stay! Hope to be back!

Le Tre Stanze is an excellent venue from which to see all the sights of Florence. I would and have recommended this accommodation to friends and they have also told me that they had a great experience there.

We were arriving a few hours before the check-in time and they were very accomodating with that. ... We enjoyed our stay at Le Tre Stanze immensely. We would recommend it to anyone. ... We were allowed to check-out late, which was very helpful to us. ... Not only was Le Tre Stanze absolutely charming but, it was in the perfect location. The main sights were just moments away, in fact we could see the Duomo from the front doorway. Great food and friendly shop-keepers at every turn! We would return here in a heartbeat.

Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived but our host gracious host, Beny, made us a cup of tea and I fell asleep on the living room couch.
Now that is what I call a great welcome to Florence. ... Our host Beny was wonderful and made our stay a delight. Accomodations clean and spacious. The location was the best for us since we were new to all of this. She helped us find places and made phone calls for taxi transportation when we were leaving. And the breakfast food and company was great. ... Everything went smoothly. ... The room we stayed in was on the ground floor and easy for someone who didn't want to climb stairs with luggage. The terrace/yard outside our room was a peaceful respite from the adventures of the day. ... Very Old Country, Wonderfully Italian, the kind of place one would love to stay at to experience the best of Florence. A mix of old and new with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel but a much more personal note.

We found it to be a wonderful room and location, and the breakfast was excellent. We would recommend it to anyone. The room we had is more like a suite and particularly good for a party of three. We loved it . ... As an elegant example of local architecture, with a very big room which opens to a garden and a separate dining area and small kitchen. The furnishings are very nice and sheets were actually linen. The location is very convenient and, finally, the owner was great fun to talk to.

As we were early and the rooms were not yet ready, we could leave our luggage and Beny Steiner gave us directions to a very nice tipical Tuscan restaurant for lunch. Afterwards we could wait in the sittingroom, with candlelight and classical music. ... Le Tre Stanze is the cleanest hotel/B&B I've ever been to ( and as a former airline hostess I have been at quite a few...). The personal touch in the service makes it so extra special! ... Beny Steiner called us a taxi, helped to carry our luggage and waved us goodbye. ... The breakfast; it in a bar; quality varies... This is normal for Italy but not for other countries, knowing this beforehand will avoid dissapointment. ... It was like staying with a very nice relative in a bohemien-chic residence from the past, with a wonderfull personal touch, and spotlessly clean.

Patrick was at the front door when we arrived. I had emailed him of the time our train would arrive in Florence. He settled us in and gave us some tips on where to have lunch. Patrick was very friendly and took very good care of us. ... The suite had two rooms besides an alcove to the bathroom. It was expansive with very tall ceilings, beautiful pieces of furniture, a sitting area...it was like having an apartment. The suite was next to the common kitchen area, the old dining room, hallway and living area where you might meet and mingle with other guests. It was full of furnishings, some Art Deco, from the owner, James who had inherited from his grandmother. A truly unique experience. ... No problem. ... Le Tre Stanze is a 'one of a kind' experience. It's open and expansive with so many areas to explore. You are central to anything you might want. You will Feel like you are part of Florence ... Staying at Le Tre Stanze was like being wrapped in a cocoon and being transported to another time and place in Florence. Yet it was cosmopolitan and central to all the major sights. Would definitely want to return again.

We had no problems with our arrival. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. We were soamazed at how beautiful this house was. ... We loved the accomodations at Le Tre Stanze! They were in a palacial old Florentine building and the rooms were exquisitely decorated and filled with antiques and art, but also comfortable. Most important was our incredible hostess, Beny. She made us feel so welcome and helped us find our way around Florence and suggested fabulous restaurants. ... Our checking out process was very easy although we were sad to leave. ... The website description is very good, but you can't comprehend how wonderful this house is until you see it. I don't believe it mentions that the website explains that when you stay in the twin bedrom and mansard you are able the full use of the dining room, living room, and kitchen. ... These apartments are in a beautiful old building with huge front doors, marble entry-way and stairs. The apartment has high celings that are intricately painted. The living room and dining room are filled with antiques and art, but very comfortable. The bedrooms are exquisitely decorated. The mansard even has old marble sinks and a wonderful patio overlooking the roofs of Florence. The hostess, Beny, does everything to make you feel welcome. She even had tea, sweets, and fruit for us to have any time of the day. I would defintely receommend Le Tre Stanze to my friends and family!

Our host was waiting for us as we arrived in the evening, and approached us by name. Very personal and memorable arrival. ... Our host allowed us to keep our luggage at the location until our evening train - also called a taxi for us. Very helpful, patient, and friendly.

In spite of our arrival a little bit later than I like to admit--our host was exceptionally warm and helpful (lugging luggage for us up the stairs). She made us feel immediately at home as if we were visiting family. ... I truly cannot imagine a better place: location, ambience--fit for royalty, yet I felt quite at home. During one delightful repast, Beny, our host, having brought breakfast to our terrace on a tray with the most striking and artistic dishes (like art!) sat with us in the sunshine telling us stories. As we laughed and talked, with the roof of the duomo outlined behind her I realized that things simply could not be better--utter perfection. I don't believe that the combination of comfort, beauty and hospitality that I experienced in that capsule of time will ever be surpassed. ... Our host was so helpful: she called our cab for us and in spite of our last minute scramble, with her help, we made it to the train station on time for our trip to Venice. We could not have done that without her. ... The building has a fascinating history, with the fixtures and details being quite unique. ... An eccentrically comforting palace. Beauty and character and style to spare without things being overly shiny. I can't imagine a more perfect balance of luxury, space, and ease.

My son and I had a wonderful and welcoming stay at Le Tre Stanze. The place was beautiful, extremely clean, well looked after and close to all attractions and shops. ... We enjoyed our time in Florence and at Le Tre Stanze immensely - thank you to Beny Steiner and also to Florence by.com - a great find.
Kind regards
Christine Van Toorn ... The check out process was smooth and well organised ... I think it would be difficult to 'capture' the charm that is Le Tre Stanze on any media - the website description is very good, but the place is just GREAT! ... A most amazing place in the heart of Florence - the perfect place to loose yourself ... you will be delighted!

Our stay at Le Tre Stanze was very enjoyable. When we first arrived, there was a little cot for our almost 5 yr old son, and it was really too small. Patrick did not hesitate at all when we requested for a bigger bed for him. I was also pleasantly surprised that we received daily room service and we were able to get of our laundry done. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The building was really old but updated which made it interesting as well. It was one of a kind. ... Highly recommended.

I was greated to a warm welcome and glass of wine and shown immediately to my room where the windows were open and the place immaculate. ... The Internet description is very accurate. ... Le Tre Stanze is set in a 400 year old building that is one block from the Duomo. The bells of the Duomo quietly greet your window each morning. The feeling is of true, unabridged Florence. This is the place for those who want to feel at home in this city. Beny, the proprietor, is very kind and welcoming and offers guests used to impersonal accommodations a very warm and down-to-earth experience. The rooms and common areas are extremely clean and breakfast is served with attention to detail and wonderful ingredients straight from the market. I would recommend this property to friends and will stay here again upon my next visit.

Didn't know there wouldn't be a lift. ... It's on the third floor and there is no lift. Very spacious rooms. Host was extremely friendly and interesting. ... It was as comfortable as staying with a friend. The terrace off the room was wonderful for enjoying the night sounds of Florence and the location was perfect!!

We had very heavy luggages. The host was very nice to help us make it to our room. ... Air conditioning was lacking. It was very hot and only had a portable AC that could not do the job. Room definitely need a better ac system. ... I think it was fairly expensive given the accomodations provided. On the other hand, location was excellent. ... Air conditioning facilities ... Very typical room. Need to climb many stairs. Balcony is great. Would benefit from a small refrigerator, given that breakfast is not included.

After being let down by Ryanair and having to wait for a taxi at 3am in the morning in Pisa, the owner rang taxi companies in Pisa for us and waited up until we got there and brought us tea and biscuits at around 4am in the morning. Needless to say it was a great start. ... Beny was wonderful and so enthusiastic from start to finish with boundless energy. She booked tours for us, told us all the great restaurants to go to and the best shopping. ... She called us a taxi and had helped us look around to find out the best car rental company. She helped us take our bags down and waved us off. ... Amazing location and house with a fascinating hostess. Would reccommend to anyone.

The photos on the website did not quite match the accomodation. Somethings were better and somethings were worse.
Better included the size, and spaciousness of the rooms, the very friendly owners, and the quietness.
Worse included the old towel robes, and unpainted walls - although to be honest I didn't mind as the ambience is really great and it all added to the quirkiness of the place.
The atmosphere is great, and it has an eccentric feel, and I will certainly use it again when I come back for my wedding in May. ... As above, the atmosphere and feel of the place was much better, but some of the furniture was not quite as beautiful as the photos on the site. ... The owner was great. Really helpful and friendly. ... A bit eccentric, but really nice. I am used to staying in very good hotels, so probably a bit spoiled in terms of expectations of the quality of finish - but what it lacked in finish it made up for in style and atmosphere.
