Staff tried to get us to move rooms during stay which of course we did not want to do and did not do.

One night as we turned on the tv,someone in the room above ours started banging the floor.We turned the sound down to zero,but the noice continued for a good while into the night. We did not take this up with the staff next morning,but it was an unpleasant experience.

The staff was great! Paola is super -- actually both of them. The room was perfect and very charming. We will stay there again and again! We even bought some collectibles at the market across the street! Excellent accomodation and we'll recommend it to friends.

Can take the 'A' bus to a stop very close to
the hotel and save a lot of money on taxis.

I would definitely recommend it to a friend
as a good value. It is well-located, clean,
and quiet. Breakfast is typical continental
style. What more do you need?

I would have appreciated a tiny refrigerator in the room - we scandinavians are accustommed to a substantial breakfast with cheese and in the evening a cold drink would be marvellous...

My husband and I arrived 1 1/2 hours early, hoping to drop-off our luggage until we could officially check-in; however, the staff was absolutely terrific, allowing us to put the luggage in the room and go ahead and check-in right away. She stopped cleaning another room in order to accomodate us, and it was greatly appreciated. Terrifically pleasant and helpful, right from the beginning (I wish I could remember her name).

The room was comfortable and an excellent 'home' at the end of a long day of exploring. The bathroom was large and clean, with nice towels. Breakfast was pleasant and ample, and the coffee surprisingly good. I can't find one solitary thing to complain about; our stay was wonderful.

We had to check-out the evening before we left, since the taxi was to pick us up at 5:00am. The woman who was there offered to have our breakfast to us at 4:00am, but we insisted that it wasn't necessary for her to get up in the middle of the night. She did happen to leave us orange juice, yogurt, etc in the fridge, just in case we wanted a little something before leaving.

Quaint, comfortable, lovely bed and breakfast, centrally located to the Duomo and Uffizi, and the perfect place to retire after a day of sight-seeing. Superior customer service, and well worth the 85E per night.
