If you arrive by train: you can get a taxi that will bring you to the Locanda dei Poeti in 2 or 3 minutes. On foot (with light baggage) you can walk from the train station to in 7 minutes. When arriving, exit the Train Station on the left side. Turn left in Via Nazionale and then turn left in Via Guelfa.
If you arrive by car from the highway: from A1 and A11 exit Firenze Nord and follow directions toward "Centro". You will reach Porta al Prato. Turn left along Viale Fratelli Rosselli, then Viale Filippo Strozzi, and Viale Spartaco Lavagnini. At the middle of this boulevard there is a red light. Turn right into Via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria, straight ahead cross Piazza Indipendenza and turn right into Via Guelfa. |
