The location was ideal as we were traveling by train....only a short walk after a long train ride

Very well located for touring Florence. Has a very friendly staff that was willing to help us with our touring. Excellent breakfast with USA cereals and Italian bread and coffee

It would be helpful to include a very small map of the area between the train station and the hotel. They are so close to eachother, however, that would be very helpful. I have seen other hotels do that on their websites.

The voucher said that there was an internet connection available, however, this is not the case.

The breakfast offered at this hotel is great and should be promoted more so. It would help book more rooms!

Very friendly staff with visitors from many different places. The street is pretty quiet and the building is in great shape.

It was an exceptional hotel. Perfect location,room was very clean, spacious and bathroom include hairdryer and powershower... great value for money and incredibly hospitable and friendly staff.

Nice hotel. Clean and very convenient to major attractions, shopping, tourist area and train station. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast with pastries and a variety of cereals. Coffee machine with attentant for cafe'a'la, expresso, etc. A few steps (6-8) before reaching elevator.
I would stay here again.

We all felt very comfortable. Everyone was so very helpful and kind. Our young son liked to 'use' the computer in the lobby and I felt he was quite safe playing there.
Overall, we would feel very happy going again.

The Hotel Lombardo is a small, quiet hotel very conveniently located to the train station and buses. The staff was always polite and helpful. The room had adequate air conditioning but we had to ask the staff to turn it in as it was not individually controlled. They were always prompt in doing so. The room was clean and adequate. The shower stall was very small. We had no difficulty getting in and out but a larger (obese) person may. Breakfast was fine.
Overall, we found it to be a good value for our money as far as hotels in Firenze go.

This hotel was a very welcome surprise. We paid almost twice as much for an awful hotel in Sorrento, Italy. The room was clean and well fitted out. The water pressure was wonderful (trust me, it started to matter after some of the places we stayed)

Excellent Breakfast (location & selection). We travelled with our 16-month old son and had the breakfast buffet gave all three of us a good start into the day.

A/C recycles inside air and requires a remote control that needs to be picked up at the front desk. It should have been available upon arrival.

We had the family room which slept four and it was fine -it had 1 kingsize bed and two twins and a fabulous air conditioner.The room was very clean and we always had towels for four people.

We arrived by train from Pisa and had some problems finding the hotel (we walked)

We were surprised at the cleanliness - change of towels every day - change of bed linen every other day - very clean which is something we Scandinavians appreciate.

Very good location, very near to the train station and within walking distance of the city centre. It's a good place to stay for exploring the city.
Clean, basic rooms. Hotel located on first floor.

Everything was great except the hot water wasn't working properly so it meant a couple of cold showers. This was partly our fault for not mentioning this to the staff.
However the most dissapointing part of our stay was how noisy the hotel was in the morning, we were awoken by other guests and cleaners early every morning and this noise continued all morning.

While the hotel was about what we expected/a good room for the price; there seemed to be a lot of noise coming into the room at night. During our stay there was a water outage during the evening. The night clerk said it was because of a water pump failure. This outage was solved by about 2AM. The morning continental breakfast was very good.

It's economy and comfortable. Though it's quite simple, it's good sufficiently if you move around the city for the sightseeing all the day while you are staying in Firenze.

Hotel Lombardi was a lot more basic and less spacious than the pictures suggested on the website, however the rooms were very clean and a fridge was available in the room which was very important for us as we were travelling with a baby. Moreover, the staff were exceptionally friendly and the location of the hotel was a perfect base to see the sites of FLorence, making it a most agreeable stay despite the lack of space.
