San Lorenzo Apartments are perfectly located in the historic centre of Florence, close to the most interesting sights of the city. There are restaurants, bars, shops, chemists and banks near the property, that is easy to reach on foot from the main railway station. "Dante" and "Beatrice" apartments are located at Borgo la Noce 4, close to the famous Medicean Chapels and just a short way from the most important cultural sites. "Caterina" apartment is in Piazza del Mercato Centrale 38, few steps from Dante apartment. "Guelfo" and "Ghibellino" apartments are instead both located on the first floor of a little villa at 48, Via Guelfa, just a short way from Piazza del Mercato Centrale where apartment "Lorenzo" is located. "Il Fiorino" and "Il Giglio" apartments are located in Via Sant'Antonino 25 at 3rd floor (without elevator) of a small building a short stroll from the San Lorenzo area. |

10-15 minutes before your arrival you should kindly phone Mrs. Elsa, who will deliver the key to your apartment. Once you have arrived, you can wait for Mrs. Elsa comfortably sitting at our restaurant "Da Garibardi, located in Piazza del Mercato Centrale, 38.
By train:
The nearest railway station is Firenze Santa Maria Novella. Take the left exit from the station, go down into the underground passage and come out into Piazza dell'Unitą Italiana, then take the Via Sant'Antonino and walk straight on until you reach the Piazza del Mercato Centrale (Central Market). If you prefer you can take a taxi.
By air:
From Florence Airport, take the "shuttle bus" that brings you to Piazza della Stazione and from there follow the same directions as for those arriving by train. Or take a taxi all the way to Piazza del Mercato Centrale on the corner with Borgo la Noce. If you arrive at Pisa airport, take the train leaving from the airport to Firenze Santa Maria Novella.
By car:
If you come on the motorway, take the first exit that you find and head for "centro cittą / Stazione Santa Maria Novella". Follow the signs until you reach Via Nazionale and after continuing along this road for about 100 metres, turn left into Via Guelfa. After about 70 metres you turn right into Via Panicale, the take the first on the left (Via Taddea) and the right into Via Rosina. It is just another 30 metres before you turn left and into the Piazza del Mercato Centrale.
For those coming by car, there is a public car park a short distance away from the apartments, under the Central Market. |
