It was a fantastic apartment, newly beautifully refurnished and with a air conditioning that turned out to be vital. We had almost 40 degrees all week.
The central location gives it an extra +.
Only disadvantage could be if you have problems to climb all the stairs.

While there wasn't someone on site when we arrived, we called and a host came within 20 minutes.

A good accommodation for the price with an excellent location in Florence. Very convenient to the railroad station, Central Market, and Duomo. Better than a hotel for the 'feel' of life in Florence.

The housestreet number on the directions was incorret, but it was only two doors away so not a problem!

We really enjoyed our stay. I can't belive they have fitted so much into this apartment. It never felt as though it was as small as it actually is...very clever interior design and architecture. It can be a little noisey very early in the morning (5am) because it is so close to the market, but we expected this anyway.

The person who welcomed us, Elsa, was very friendly and polite and explained things excellently.

There are quite a lot of stairs, but they were probably a good thing as they offset the amount of good food we ate whilst in Florence!

We loved San Lorenzo apartment! It was large, clean, comfortable and cheerful! It exceeded our expectations. THe location was terrific! We would stay there again and recommend it to others.
Elsa, the woman who meet us and gave us keys was terrific. She was kind and polite and was very helpful. It was a lovely welcome to a beautiful city.
I hope these comments will be helpful to future travellers.

The markets are downstairs and set up early in the morning,but if you close the windows and put on the a/c its no problem.

We called Ms. Elsa prior to coming to the apartment. She was there to me us outside of the main entrance.

The room was excellent. There was a small sour odor in the room that may have been the plumbing.

Due to the location of the appartment (next to San Lorenzo market), the sellers made a lot of noise to prepare their tents at 05:30 AM. It should be recommended to install double windows to reduce/isolate the noise.

The place was very well located (San Lorenzo Church), just only five minutes walking to Duomo.
The appartment was very cute, romantic and quite... Everything was very clean and very well cared for. All the facilities were as the web shows.
I strongly recommend this place to any of you. The quality/price is excellent and unbeatable.

We had a detailed map of Florence so finding the apartment was not an issue. A representative was there when we arrived and gave us a detailed tour of the accomodations.

We enjoyed our stay in Florence and at the San Lorenzo Apartment. The early morning ( 5:30 am ) racket from the street vendors setting up was sometimes annoying. Overall a great stay in a beautiful city.

Appartamento Beatrice is a great place to stay with children. It is quiet, clean, and all the places you would want to visit in Florence are an easy walk away. Between Jean Luis' office across the street, and the Trattoria a few doors down the street, someone is there nearly all the time should you have questions. Jean was great about calling for a taxi and making sure everything in the apartment was working. It was a great visit to Florence. Our children especially liked the apartment.

Lovely restored and modernised studio apartment. Very spacious ansd airy. Apartment Beatrice was very quiet, looking onto a courtyard. Very clean but some plumbing problems (bad odors) from time to time which seems to be quite common in many buildings in Italy. Good size kitchen and great daybeds for relaxing on. There were 2 of us but it would easily suit a group of 3-4 people.

According to the description I thought that in the appartment there is a seperated bedroom.

My collegues and I were very pleased with the accommodation and the service we recieved from the staff
Only one comment the website does mention that the apartment is on the top floor but I think it should be made clearer that there are six flights of stairs to climb as not everyone could manage that many with or without cases to carry

The room and facilities were good. Unfortunately, it was situated too close to the Piazza del Mercato. It seemed that all night & early morning the streets were noisy with the merchants either rolling their carts to set up or put them away.

We arrived very late, but still there was somebody to meet us.

Apartment was relatively small for family of 5, but charming. Very low ceilings on the second floor (loft) were the double bed is. Since we stayed in November, it was pretty cold outside and it was cold in the apartment. There are heating units, which also work as A/C. Since these units were both located at the top, it was very warm in the loft and very cold downstairs. Location is great! Keep in mind that apartment is on the fourth floor with no lift!

We were looking for the Internet connection in the room and had the laptop with us. We were given the dial-up modem and the disk with the software to be installed. After all that was done, it still didn't work. At the time we were trying to connect, it was too late and we didn't call for help, although the help was offered by the owner.

The quality of the rooms was good but much noise of the contiguous apartment is heard, by a door that communicates both apartments,there is no separation wall; much noise of the street at night.
In the apartment it would be necessary a carpet of shower and coverall kitchen rag.

During our stay at the apartment, we could gain 10% discount if we ate at 'Garbardi' Restaurant in the Market Square.

The apartment was quite small, but extremely clean. It was very centrally located, which gave good access to all the main sites.
