There were one or two things that didn't work, ie the air conditioning and the fridge.

The receptionist when we arrived was Chiara, and she was wonderfully helpful, extraordinarily polite, and kind. She helped us with a dinner reservation when we could not work our phone, marked shops, restaurants, and bancomats on a map for us, etc.

The room was pretty much as expected--the bathroom better than we expected, the kitchenette not very good.
While we enjoyed our stay and loved the location, we noted a few things that could be improved fairly easily: there was no sponge or dish soap in the kitchenette, so we had to go out and purchase these things before we could wash a dish. The reading lamp was broken. We showed the staff that this was a problem our first day, but nobody ever fixed or replaced it. The telephone was difficult to dial and needs to be replaced--the keys on it would stick, causing digits to be dialed more than the times pressed. The floor wax or soap that had been used to clean the floor left a sticky residue on the tiles. The small refrigerator has been installed inside a closed cabinet that is improperly ventilated. Therefore the heat produced in running it accumulates in the cabinet, and just about cancels out the cooling effect of the refrigerator. My husband said a few ventilation holes in the cabinet would fix this problem.

Great location in our favorite part of Florence, easy access to great restaurants and all the major sites, quiet at night, and a wonderful receptionist named Chiara. The room we had was pretty basic--nothing fancy, but comfortable, with a very nice bathroom. The kitchenette is basically only good for making coffee or heating up something very simple. We liked being up high on the fifth floor, but if you want to have the windows open, make sure you bring mosquito repellant.

The quiet was exceptional, especially for Florence and even for the Oltrarno. The view of Santo Spirito was an unexpected treat. The room was spacious and the bathroom very good. We were extremely pleased.

Because we had to leave very early Monday morning (5:30 am) for the airport, Ciera, the receptionist, arranged a taxi for us on Sunday. It was extremely prompt and she was most helpful.

Quiet, large and spacious, lovely view of Santo Spirito, convenient location close to the river, exactly as presented. I would definitely request a room with the Santo Spirito view!

It wasn't exactly clear where the bus 'D' stop was. We walked to the apartment. It might be better to indicate to people that as you leave the main train terminal, go right and bus 'D' stops on the street that runs by the station. One should look for the bus stop 'D' sign.

Excellent view from balcony which over looks a church and courtyard. Located south side of River Arno slightly more distant to main sights but better than north side because there are less tourists and congestion.

Beautiful view of the church of Santo Spirito from the back apartments. Also access nearby to inexpensive breakfast bars and inexpensive restaurants. Walking distances to the Ponte Vecchio and the Centre. Quiet neighbourhood.

We had the most fabulous time in Florence, and much of it is due to the very nice accommodations. This was a real gem and we will be back. We did miss wine glasses, could not believe they did not have any in our appartment.

A must!! A honeymoon... If you go to Florence, forget about the big hotels, this cozy little appartment with everything you can need in a quiet neighbourhood is just what you need.

The person in charge of my welcome was very helpful, explained me the facilities available in the area and advised me about museum opening hours and days and reservation process.

I had a better room i expected from my reservation.
I had a very nice stay at the palazzo, the nicest view from the terrace and peaceful nights.
The palazzo is very near from city center, located in a quiet area.
