Jus behind Il Parterre, the biggest parking in the the town and the nearest one to the city centre that is still possible to reach without a special pass (the centre is not allowed with car to the non residents and most of the people have to leave the car at this parking and then join the city centre walking). Piazza della Libertà is only 4 blocks away and within 5 minutes you will be in Piazza San Marco and in 7 minutes you can reach Duomo square. The area is plenty os restaurants and caffees and it is very well comunicated with the rest of the city. The Fortezza and the congress centre are only 5 minutes away. |

Coming by Car
- From South: From A1 highway take exit Firenze Sud. Follow the signs for "Firenze Centro" and "Piazza della Libertà". Cross the river Arno and you will be on the Viali di Circonvallazione. When you arrive in Piazza della Libertà', turn right in "Viale Don Minzoni". On your left side of Viale Don Minzoni you will see the Hotel Meridiana.
- From North: From A1 highway take exit Firenze Nord and follow the signs for the city centre "Firenze Centro". Then look for the signs for "Viali of Circonvallazione". Until you find "Fortezza Da Basso" and then "Piazza della Libertà'". Now, you have to follw the signs "Stadio" and "Fiesole" and so you enter in Viale Don Minzoni. On your left side of Viale Don Minzoniyou will see the Hotel Meridiana.
By Air
- Airport Amerigo Vespucci of Florence - 5 km far from the city centre. You can reach Hotel Meridiana by taxi or by bus. The bus will take you to the main railway station (S.M.Novella), from where you can walk or get the bus number 1 or 7 and get off in "Piazza della Libertà'.
- Airport Galileo Galilei of Pisa - 90 km from Florence. Take the train leaving directly from the airport to S.M.Novella of Florence from where you can walk or get the bus number 1 or 7 and get off in "Piazza della Libertà'".
From the railway station (Santa Maria Novella):
- By Taxi: you can find a taxi stand in front of the railway station.
- By Bus: the bus stops are in front of the railway station. Take the bus number 1 or 7 and get off in Piazza della Libertà, we are about 4 blocks ahead following Viale Don minzoni. |
