Nice, quiet, relaxing and friendly. If you want to get into the feel and atmosphere of Florence and immerse yourself in the local culture I could not recommend a better place.

As we had left home a month before arriving in Florence, we didn't get the email instructing us to phone before we arrived but we did do this anyway so maybe that email could go out earlier for others in same position.
The location was fantastic and suited us down to the ground. As there was a lot of noise from 7am every day due to renovations, although it didn't bother us, other people may wish to be warned about it.
There was very little natural light in the apartment.
The manager was very generous with his time in showing us how everything worked and he was very helpful. The apartment was very clean and well equipped.
Unfortunately the washing machine didn't work (but as this was the fourth apartment in a row on our holiday with washing machines not working we were fairly philosophical about it - and we do know how they work usually!)
All in all a great experience in a great spot.

The owner (Paolo) was very helpful. He met us at the street where he was waiting under the rain. He also helped with the luggage. Paolo also gave exhaustive description of the property and walked us through everything. He also helped to find the most economical and convenient parking and gave suggestions about grocery shopping. He quickly fixed small problem in the apartment.
PS. We did not find the directions on the web-site, just the map, which was a bit wrong: it shows the apartment on the North side of the Piazza, while it is on the South side.

We stayed in several apartments during our vacations in Europe and other parts of the world. This particular stay was one of the most enjoyable. The apartment was very clean. Everything, even small details, were thoroughly thought through for guest's convenience. We will definitely book this apartment next time. We also recommended this apartment to our friends, and one of them is going to contact you shortly for his trip to Florence in 2 months.

The location was our concern when we booked, because we knew how noisy vibrant Piazza della Republica is. However, the apartment was very quite, because it faces back alley. This was very pleasant surprise for us, and I believe adding the informaiton about quiteness to the description on the website would be helpful.

Paolo met us at the apartment as soon as we arrived in florence and showed us everything in the apartment. He was very helpful and polite and we had a wonderful time in this apartment.

I would say it was a wonderful apartment. It was very spacious; much larger than we were expecting. It was fabulous to have air conditioning. The location is absolutely perfect. It is nice to stay in an apartment as opposed to a hotel. It is very private and much more relaxing than to be cramped in a noisy hotel room.

It was great to be met by someone relaxed and friendly on our first day in the city - it set the tone for the stay.

The freedom of having our own space for a week beats the extra services of a hotel. I will always try to get a flat if I have the time when I travel now.

Some warning needs to be given about the very narrow streets as you tend to disregard the correct street because it looks like a very small back alley.

Dear Sirs:
We had a great stay in Florence. The only comment about this particular property would be to clearly clarify that the bathroom is extremely small and can barely accomodate an entire family, let alone a big person trying to use the shower. My husband, and my 15 year old found it very difficult. Other than that the location was really great and the apartment clean.

The flat 'Dante' was very spacious (it could comfortably lodge six people)and it was air-conditioned very well. The receptionist was very kind and available.

We were greeted by a representative - who was very friendly. The apartment was FANTASTIC. It was more than I expected in some ways eg food as in olive oil in cupboards. It was noisier at night than I expected but nothing too loud.

My flight was delayed 7 hours and the poor man had to wait up for mke - reception and apartment could not be bettered.

Excellent situation - I am disabled and found everything on the doorstep and there was a lift. A real home from home, very comfortable and well appointed, especially the kitchen.

We were treated very kindly and provided with useful and helpful information regarding the neighborhood and bus access.

The apartment is in need of some additional attention. A fresh coat of paint would be a great improvement. The cleaning of the unit needs to pay more attention to the details such a shower door tracks, exhaust louvres, etc.

We rented Dante apartment. Paolo was there there when we arrived. The apartment was excellent and very well located. There is a bus service but we walked everywhere.
I will not hesitate to recommend the apartment and I thank the Florence by website as I may not have found the apartment otherwise.

The shower drain in the bathroom has a tendency to clog and then smell do to a structural oddity, but otherwise loved the flat.

Arriving at the apartment was a bit tricky. The instructions were a little off and we ended up driving up and down one of the side streets to the apartments location. Giving up on finding the number, we went directly to the plaza where the landlord was there to greet us.

The apartment was fantastic. Very centrally located, we were able to experience Florence full-heartedly. The apartment was beautiful and we totally appreciated having a coffee-maker (very important for morning wake-ups).

Our landlord was gracious and the WorldBy services were easy to use. I booked the apartment several months in advance, so when the time was close for us to arrive in Italy, response time to my emails was extremely prompt and curtious.

Centrally located.. perfect for a 2 week stay. Definitely search around for little perks (for example, we had no idea the chairs in the living room folded out into mini beds until our last night there). All of the amentities that we're used to at home were provided, which made the trip less of a culture shock.

Excellent introduction from the person that met us at the Apartment - very useful information provided about the area (shops, buses etc).

Great central apartment - away from the tourist crowds but in a great area. Easy access to all of Florence. Great bakeries and local shops nearby. Excellent facilities within the apartment - fully equipped kitchen. Wonderful welcome on arrival - very friendly and helpful.

The apartment that we stayed was very nice. However, I would suggest the rate should include the cleaning charge. I have stayed at another apartments in Rome and Venice with no 'cleaning charge'.
