We were given advice on where to go for a meal and made to feel at ease straight away. ... We had a lovely stay, we hope to return to Dei Mori one day in the future and we would recommend Dei Mori to other people. For us, it was additionally helpful that Suzanne spoke English although we would not have expected that or made it a priority when booking. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and very peaceful, just waht we needed. ... We were able to leave our belongings at Dei Mori until we had to leave Florence which meant that we could really make the most of our last day without having to carry our bags around with us. ... Dei Mori is an oasis of calm right at the heart of Florence. It is wonderfully situated, very close to all the main sights. It is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is lovely and the people are fantastic. You must go there.

Wonderful B&B in the heart of Florence! Extremely helpful staff - Suzanne was a life-saver and a time-saver for our visit. I would stay at the Dei Mori any time I go to Florence in the future.

EXtremely personal, polite and informative. Not only did Danny and Bruno tell us about their propoerty, gave us some excellent recommendations about restaurants, walks and attractions. ... I would return to Dei Mori the next time I come to Florence and recommend all my friends to do likewise. ... Clean and well decorated, spacious, friendly, central location and extremely welcoming. I would imagine there are hundreds of higher priced hotels and B&B's in Florence that would suffer by comparison to Dei Mori.

The only drawback of our stay was the noise created in the early hours of the morning by some younger guests. These guests did however check out the following morning with no further noise disruption in the early hours of the morning. ... No ... Centrally located, fitted out to high standard with very friendly and cooperative staff/owners

We got a warm and nice welcome and our first impresson was very pleasant. Elegant carpets on the floor, fresh flowers, lots of pictures on the walls. And it was complete silent during the nights and still it is in the middle of the city, five minutes from Duomo. We`ll recommend Dei Mori to all who want a nice b&b in Florence, for sure!! ... look above ... look above

We would recommend Dei Mori to others. ... The staff was efficient and helpful in checking out, as in all other aspects of our stay. We received a room with a private bath that was across the hall. We thought the bathroom was ensuite. ... Dei Mori wasn't exactly as on the web site. Nor was it worse. It was just different. There wasn't a balcony to sit on for breakfast and the receiving rooms didn't look any thing like the what was pictured.
... The location of Dei Mori B&B was perfect to get around Florence. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. And it was a community breakfast table so we were able to meet the other travelers staying there. The pillows were better than the pillows we have at home. The sheets and towels were very clean. Generally we enjoyed our stay very much. We felt very safe. We would recommend it and we would go back. My only complaint is that the bed spread needed to be washed.

Suzanne was very welcoming and helpful. ... Re #8 One could not say 'spacious.' There was very little place to put things. No soap tray in the shower. ... No one entioned the strike on the electric bus that forced us to hail a taxi after we had purchased bus tickets the previous evening. I think the management should have been more aware of this situation. ... Eating in Florence deserves a little more explanation. What to expect in a trattoria, a ristorante, etc. with regard to tipping, for example. The dining recommendations given were not entirely satisfactory. I got so mad at the service at La Spada that we almost walked out. 1 hour between primi and main courses was too long. Then the meat came over-done and dry. Not a great experience. But reasonably priced, yes. This might have been avoided with a bit of advice about the menu. ... Located a step away from the main pedestrian shopping street. Two blocks from the Duomo, yet quiet, friendly and well appointed. A little cramped. A very professionally run and pleasant establishment. A lot of care has been put into the decor and atmosphere.

A very warm, friendly welcome. ... The room was very clean and was well maintained on a daily basis. I especially appreciated the non-smoking environment and the fact that there were no TV sets. The bed was VERY comfortable. I also like the fact they they are conscious of conserving natural resources and do not change the beds daily. They were always available to answer questions and provide guidance about things to do, restaurants, giving directions etc. And the breakfast was quite adequate. ... They were quite helpful in arranging for a very early morning taxi to the airport. ... I think that the web site gave a very accurate impression and that is why we chose Dei Mori. We were not disappointed in any way. ... I would highly recommend Dei Mori to my friends. It has a comfortable, friendly atmosphere and is within easy walking distance to anything in Florence that one might want to do. The guest rooms and common areas are tastefully decorated. The breakfast was quite sufficient - enough to get one off to a good start for a day of sightseeing. The mattresses were of very high quality and comfort, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff are available at all times to help out, including mini-lessons in Italian!!

We appreciated the fact that there were beverages (including wine) readily available for purchase at a reasonable rate. ... We were grateful that they stored our luggage the day of checkout since we were taking an evening train. ... It was quite a climb with suitcases to reach the first floor -- about 30 or more steps. ... The Dei Mori B & B was very conveniently located. We were pleased with its centrality. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was well lit.

Not only were we given a warm greeting upon arrival, we were also given help with our luggage up the many stairs by Danny and also informed of numerous places to eat and visit. He helped in making phone calls and answering any and all questions we had. Peter was also very helpful. It was wonderful. I loved the location and the staff. Thanks! ... Too many stairs but very charming and worth the climb. You're treated very well and the staff could not be more helpful in all matters. They were great and made us feel they valued our business. I would definitely return.

We so enjoyed our stay at Dei Mori BnB. The staff were more than helpful, and supplied us with information right away: where to stroll, great quiet eating places, and even checked into getting us into one of the museums, since we had not booked it prior. Dani was successful, and we were able to get into the Academia with no wait. We so appreciated their hospitality, and their company. We would recommend it to our friends and family here, if they ever travel to Firenze. ... Loved the central location!

our flight arrival was earlier than check in time but we took a taxi straight to the dei mori, expecting only to deposit luggage were able to check in, with advice on itinerary and meals from suzanne ... very warm and inviting common area to meet other guests and talk about what we were all doing; breakfast coffee is great, but the prepackaged breakfast breads are lackluster, but sustenance just the same ... danny was extremely helpful with directions for driving out of florence after our car rental ... knowledgeable staff for what to do, where to eat, honest responses for cutting out the tourist trappings ... warm, inviting, peaceful, an oasis

I did not realize in advance that 'private bath' and 'ensuite bath' are not the same thing, that private bath is down the hall. ... It is on the second floor of the building, and there is no elevator. That is a fact that I did not see on the website. ... The location is incredible, steps to many interesting sites. It was quite comfortable, especially if one has a larger room with the en suite bathroom. The breakfast is quite reasonable. The staff is very helpful, especially with advice on museum opening hours, bookings etc. I recommend it heartily.

If you come by car to Florence, we would advice people to park at a parking place somewehre, and not try by themselves to reach the hotel by carbut take a taxi with the luggage from the parkingplace ... Everything was as expected, but perhaps the breakfast. We would have liked to have fresh bread. ... We find the location worth emphasising more, it could not bee better! ... Location perfekt. Unbelievable to find a location like this at that price in Florence. The couple Peter and Susan made you feel at home and save in the middle of a big city. Rooms sweet and italian.

I had requested a triple room with 3 single beds. On arrival the room allocated to our party had a double bed with a put up camp bed. However, the proprietor quickly made arrangements for the double bed to be replaced by 2 single beds so we were quite happy, ... We discovered that there was a 5% discount for paying the bill in cash, which was nice. We had not been aware of this discount before checking out, so to get the discount it meant going out to get cash from a Cash machine, not a big deal, but had we known we could have been prepared. ... A charming bed and breakfast, where you felt more like a guest in a nice private Florentine apartment than a guest in a bed and breakfast. The proprietor's advice on where to go and what to do on a short visit to Florence was invaluable and it helped us maximize our very short time and get a far better feel for the city than we would have had left to our own devices.

The room that we finally got was less than we expected, especially very noisy. On the other hand we were upgraded the first 2 nights, so that balanced it out ... see copmments mentioned above ... Room next to the reception is very noisy. On the website is mentioned that all rooms have individual bathrooms, in or outside the room. Our bathroom was in the breakfast/reception area, which doesn,t feel very private. ... Cosy, very central, very close to the important monuments, nice breakfast balcony, friendly staff, but quality/price wise a little bit out of balance. (Our last weekend in Florence we stayed in a different place: for the same money we stayed in a nice monument/high quality room, king size bed, beautiful bathroom in the room, airco included and last but not least a very rich breakfast)
