The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. You do have to walk up quite a lot of stairs to get to the hotel but he helped us haul our luggage up to our room. He also gave us a suggestion for a great little restaurant right down the street and we had a wonderful dinner there.

The stairs did not bother us but could be a problem for some visitors.

Overall it was a very good experience. The only minor issue was upon checkout. There was a discrepancy in the cost of the room. The gentleman charged more than was on the original reservation but he was quick to give me the difference back in cash when he saw the paper with the original amount on it.

I found it interesting that on the reservation it stated 'bed and breakfast' yet there was no breakfast service. It really wasn't a problem but a bit misleading.

The son spoke English but the father did not so that made communication a bit more difficult but I was still able to get back the difference in cost discrepancy. I wouldn't say you should include this on the website but some tourists may have a difficult time trying to communicate if they don't know Italian. I really wish I could speak the language!

It was clean, nice, the staff very friendly, spacious room. I would definitely stay there again. I really have no complaints at all. The location was excellent as well.

More specific directions from the train station to the hotel...the building numbers on their street are not in order which was confusing.

Such great location...the sweetest people work there. The man who checked us in, although he spoke no English, was incredibly welcoming and could communicate the necessities. Breakfast served to our room was so convenient and very fun!

The rooms were very basic with not much wardrobe space. The breakfast was fine and the service and politeness of the staff was good.
