The owners are wonderful! ... We couldn't have asked for a more perfect hotel or location. The fourth-floor walkup is well worth it! Franco and Sawako are gracious, friendly hosts, wait on you hand and foot during breakfast and will happily offer you restaurant recommmendations. The rooftop terrace is a great place to relax with a glass of wine at the end of a long day with a beautiful view of the Duomo. We will definitely stay there the next time we're in Florence!

The owners were willing to let us check in without our voucher as our luggage had been lost and even allowed us to check in early. They are very accommodating ... Our host and hostess were incredible. They made our stay extremely enjoyable. ... The rooftop terrace was wonderful. The location of Novencento B&B made it very easy to walk all over the city. ... I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone. ... I would ask for the honeymoon suite. It is the most quiet room and right next to the rooftop terrace.

I would say the only thing that was a bit surprising was the number of stairs you had to ascend to reach Novecento, but they were also incredibly helpful in bringing up luggage, etc. I found the staff of Novecento very helpful throughout the entire stay especially with restaurant reservations and suggestions. ... We enjoyed our stay there, the location is fabulous and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. ... Very quick checkout, very easy. ... I would maybe mention something about the number of staris that have to be climbed. It's nothing for younger people, but for older travelers/senior travelers I think it might be tough for them. Personally, I'd want to know that before I decided on my stay. ... I'd say 'it's a cute place in an amazing location that is a good deal for the money, and has friendly, helpful staff. The roof-top terrace has amazing views of the Duomo and is a wonderful place to relax after a busy day.'

Very charming, brand new, unique style B&B. While the 3 flights of stairs were a bit tiring with luggage, the view from the terrace was well worth it. At night, the Duomo, lit like a celestial palace just over the terrace, appears so close you could almost lean over and touch it. BREATHTAKING. One of the best photographs I took in Italy, period.
... One-of-a-kind, in a really good way.

The hotel is new and clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It is a minutes walk from the Duomo! Just one problem; there is no elevator.

There is a climb up stairs when you arrive which was fine for us but others might find difficult. The good news was that the owners offered to help carry luggage up and down at both at check-in and check-out. If one needs an elevator or has a large suitcase this hotel may be problematic. ... Owners were friendly, accommodating. Hotel was very clean. Location was excellent. Shower arrangement in the bathroom somewhat awkward.

Its on the third floor. But the staff were more than helpful in assisting us up the stairs with our luggage.

I took a cab as it was easier than trying to find my way around, it was 8 Euro and worth it as there is only a small sign which could be easily missed if walking. Very close to everything. Great location. ... The room was very clean and the bathroom spotless. It is a new B&B and this shows. Breakfast was good. My room was small but it was a single room, very adequate.
It was on a noisy street, so I did have to wear earplugs everynight. There were also 3 children staying as well but they made no noise after 10 pm. ... Everyone in Italy wanted to be paid in cash and I planned on paying by CC for all of my stays and they did take it but would have preferred to have cash. It wasn't just them. ... I did not see any where on the website and it should absolutely be there.
There are 3 flights of stairs to climb, the owner did help with the luggage but anyone with knee problems or heart condition, they are very steep. ... Great location, nice people, helpful, clean and safe area.

Good breakfast. Hot water heater went out and hot water was not available for a 24 hour period. Owners were very helpful in obtaining museum tickets which made the stay easier. ... Rooftop deck is accessed only by step stool and very narrow stairway. No separate shower stall in bathroom - entire floor is drain for shower. ... Very close to Duomo, museums, shopping. Clean and nicely decorated. However, four flights of stairs can be a chore after a day of sightseeing. Less expensive than other small B&B's in such close proximity to major sites.
