By car
If you are coming by car we suggest you to use Pirelli map and build your itinerary.
There is a city hall owned parking lot in piazza della Libertà called 'Il Parterre'. This lot costs 15.00 Euro/day but is a taxi ride away from the B&B. To get to Piazza della Libertà, just follow all signs to this square and then follow all of the big blue "P" signs for the parking.
By train
From the main train station you walk along VIA PANZANI which becomes VIA CERRETANI and as you have reached the Cathedral (Duomo) turn right. Now'll be in VIA CALZAIUOLI, Florence's "main street". After about three blocks, you'll find VIA DE' TAVOLINI on your left. Via de' Tavolini is long one block, and becomes Via Dante Alighieri, our street. Walking just for 10 meters you arrive in Piazza San Martino look for the number 3. then you have arrived.
By airplane
Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci is on the outskirts of town and can be reached by taxi (10-15 minute ride) or SITA bus from the railway station.
By public transportation
If you decide to take the Electric Bus 'A' here are the instructions: when you get off the train, continue walking straight ahead through the ticket office (Salone Biglietteria), and the bus stop is on the other side of the wall in front of you. Wait at the bus stop for bus 'A'; Dante Alighieri Street is one of the scheduled stops on the route. | | |
