Panellas was by far the best place we stayed in Italy. Graziella was amazing- helping with directions,offering suggestions and giving lots of TLC The breakfasts were excellent and the location perfect.We loved the old world ambiance of Panellas interior. Hope we can return some day!

I loved Panella's! It was fantastic and so were Mr and Mrs Panella. My only, and I have only one, issue, is that we had noise from above, and other traveling sounds that could be a problem. I choose to use earplugs to have an absolute peaceful sleep.

Panella's is a perfect place! It's in a terrific location to everything, and, what made it so special, was Mr and Mrs Panella. They were so gracious, lovely and helpfull! We felt at home and were treated like family. They even went so far as to sing Happy Birthday to me in italian and give me a copy of the CD they played in the mornings for my birthday (I had mentioned how much I loved it). A phone call by Mrs. Panella on the evening before my departure, because I would not see her in the morning, spoke volumes about the care she has for all her guests. I would tell all my friends to stay there and I will definitely return to Florence and stay at Panella's.

The owners were warm, welcoming, extremely helpful, and went out of their way for us. A big A plus for them and their residence. Absolutely wonderful!!! As was the breakfast they served every morning. The best place we stayed in Italy.

The owner recommended a restaurant for our dinner after noticing that it was my birthday from my passport. She also called the Uffizi and Accademia for reservations, and a taxi when we were leaving--many hugs and kisses. When I was trying to show off my non-existent Italian I made a mistake (to my advantage) in counting out the money I owed her, then had to be very strong about making her accept the shorted money--after which she gave me loads of chocolates. I'm sure everyone who goes there receives the same treatment.

A very comfortable, well-run establishment, owned by extraordinarily friendly people who speak Engllish and French, with a sense of humor, who will go out of their way for you in their centrally located WONDERFUL Residence. I loved it.

Screens on the windows would allow the windows to be opened and keep the mosquitos out.

A personal and family run establishment that made you feel out of the tourist loop....a plus in my books...and yet the owners were very helpful in helping us find our way around. The design details of the property were wonderful and showed the level of expertise of architect Guiseppe and personal care of Graziella. The area the residence is located is central but not in the middle of things....much quieter. I would stay here again anytime.

Panella's Residence is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast. It is located within a few minute walk to Duomo and the center of Florence. The room we stayed in was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was also large. The whole property was very well taken care of and very clean. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We were made to feel very welcome right from the start and developed a wonderful relationship with the owner and staff. They also helped us with arranging parking for our rental car and accompanied me to the parking station personally which was very much appreciated. Parking charges were direct billed back to Panella's which made it simple for me to settle up.

Would not hesitate to recommend Panella's Residence to friends from around the world and would happily stay there again in the future.

They provided help with retrieving our car during the night and parking it at their front door for early get away. They also helped with the baggage from our room to the car. Wonderful end to the visit.

I think their ability to arrange parking is worth including on the website. They also arranged flowers to be delivered to our room for our arrival at my request and sent us a bottle of Chianti Classico on our first night. Their ability to help with restaurant recommendations and bookings should also be highlighted on the web site.

Charming, very comfortable interiors,warm, friendly, caring service, very nicely furnished, and very well located in Firenze to several tourist attractions and great shops. Breakfasts were always a treat too. Would definitely return in the future.

Panella's residence is a lovely b&b. The location is on a quite neighborhood street. Somewhat residential. If there was any negative at all, it would be that there's a hospital down the street that sometimes made the sirens noisy. But not awful. Graziella is an absolute wonderful host. I'd stay there again.

I would stress the graciousness of the hosts. It is a steep walk up the stairs to get to the rooms, but once you're up there, it's worth it.

Very comfortable, nice breakfast that was homemade by the Panella hosts. It is a lovely change from staying at cold hotels.
