 Villa Peruzzi Castle is in a country house located in the green hills south of Florence, just 15 minutes by car from the historic city centre, at the start of the amazing Chianti area. Here you find the tower of the ancient Villa of Marquises Peruzzi. In the 19th century this country villa, now renovated and furnished with antique furniture, was the home of the important literary salon of Marquis Emilia Peruzzi and was host to characters such as Cavour and Garibaldi, during their discussions after the conquest of South Italy. |
 In a great apartment in the tower of the villa, the owners offer guests bed and breakfast accommodation in two magnificent rooms with private bathroom plus a large salon with ceiling adorned by Gothic arches. We are very happy to welcome students of Italian who would like to practice speaking our language or to study it more thoroughly. To make your stay truly exceptional we will be happy to accompany you or to suggest delightful excursions in the surrounding countryside, or if you prefer, concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events in Florence and the nearby cities of Tuscany, easily reached by car. |
 Breakfast is served in the dining room and is a delightful spread of cakes, jams and marmalades made by the owner herself, Tuscan ham, cheeses, eggs, fruit and fruit juices. On request, the owners can organise cooking courses lasting either a week or a week-end. The guests will be provided with recommendations, if they so require, for the best walking trips in the surrounding areas, as well as details about all kinds of other events in the city. |
