By Car from Florence: It is a ten-minute drive from the A1 motorway exit FIRENZE SUD (Florence South) to our place. Come off the motorway at Firenze Sud and follow the indications for GREVE and SIENA. After about 1 km you'll go under a flyover and come out where the road widens. At this point (abandoning the Greve-Siena direction which bears slightly right) take instead the slightly left direction for ANTELLA OSTERIA NUOVA. Follow on for about 2 Kms until you arrive in the piazza of ANTELLA, where on the left of the church you 'll see an indication for OSTERIA NUOVA. After about 1Km on this road, to your right you'll clearly see a medieval tower, which is where we live. Once past the lower red buildings, on the right there's a narrow country road, flanking the back of the Villa, with various gates. Ours is the third gate. Ring the Amaraschi bell at no 158. If you'd prefer a simplex solution, as soon as you come off the motorway at Firenze Sud, stop after the pay toll and telephone us It will take us 10 minutes to reach you and we'll be glad to show you the way ourselves. Kindly communicate your approximate time of arrival 2 or 3 days in advance so that we'll be at home to welcome you.
By Car from Pisa airport: take the A11 hiway towards Florence. Then take the A1 highway toward Rome and exit at "Firenze Sud". From there follow the above instructions.
By car from Firenze SMN train station: follow "Via Del Giglio" to the bridge called "San Niccolò" arrive to the bridge turn left and go to "Piazza Francesco Ferruci". At this point follow the indication to "Bagno a Ripoli" and you will arrive to a village called "Antella" at this point follow the above instructions. |
