 The piazza is located near the principal landmarks of the city such as Ponte Vecchio (the Old Bridge) and Palazzo Pitti (Pitti Palace) and is the heart of Florence's namely Left Bank, the Oltrarno. Oltrarno still maintains today its bohemian atmosphere and is famous for its workshops where Florentine artisans continue to produce traditional handicrafts like centuries ago. |
