Most of the masterpieces of Renaissance are guarded inside the galleries, museums and churches of Florence, a city that seems to have been born for those who love art and culture. At Piccolo Hotel, you will be steps from most of these testimonies, and on foot you will reach major attractions such as the San Lorenzo district and Santa Maria dei Fiore cathedral, the landmark of the city. |
Piccolo Hotel was opened in June 2007 after a complete renovation carried out on two floors of a building on Via San Gallo, pretty close from Piazza San Marco. There are 10 guestrooms to choose among, either single, double or triple, and delightful common areas such as the living room. As a matter of fact, the modern, delicate style of the decoration sets you at ease immediately, almost as if you were home away from home. |
At Piazza San Marco, not only will you visit the homonymous church, but you will also find a number of bus stops: you will easily reach Santa Maria Novella train station, or even other attractions placed a bit farther. Galleria dell'Accademia is a must-see, placed a few blocks away: you cannot end your visit till you have checked Michelangelo`s David, among other relevant masterpieces. |
