The rooms are basic, but very comfortable. The setting is beautiful. Excellent value. Only negative is it takes a little longer to drive to Fiesole than I thought, but that is due to the winding, narrow road.

The owners were very polite, helpful, & accomodating. Most everything waa perfect.
I just have one concern. If the B&B could offer to change the towels without additional charge particularly for a longer than 3 day stay (we stayed for 5 days) & particularly when childeren are involved (we brought our teenage daughter).

The website mentioned that all rooms had some if not a panoramic view of the valley. Ours did not.

I would recommend the place. It's not just the beauty & tranquility of the place. Signor Giovanni & his family went out of their way to be very helpful & rcommended very good tips from trattorias to directions & parking, etc.

It was great accomodation, can't be any better than this, This place is heaven if you have your own drive but we can't really rely on public transport for this, as we did. But it was Great even with that.

We were met and picked up by Giovani the owner and thank fully he did. I would suggest more details about the distance and the bus time tables from mino square to the guest house will be helpful. This will let the future customers know that they really need a car and cannot depend on the bus service. Otherwise it was a wonderful place with two great people running it. I will recommend the home to more people.

Would have been nice if he had a working credit card machine (had to pay in Euros).

Should include the view from the garden of the valley below. It was very nice to sip wine out there as the sun set.

Quiet, remote...very peaceful. I'd recomend renting a car to anyone that stays there though, as it is a good distance from Fiesole (6K).

I would highly recommend it - it is lovely, relaxing, clean, great breakfast, a beautiful view, great restaurants close by, a very short trip into Florence. It was great - we would stay there again.

Better description of the location. Now you get the impression that Poggio al Sole is located in Fiesole rather than in Torre di Buiano.

Friendly, nice and quiet, clean. A perfect location to visit Florence, unless you want to stay in the city itself.
The breakfast was excellent.
