By Car:
The Hotel is easily reached from the A1 Milano-Napoli motorway exit "Firenze Sud" (Florence South) in about 5/6 minutes. After pay toll drive ahead for about 3 km until you arrive at the first traffic-light. Turn left in direction city centre and after about 3 km turn right in Giovanni Amendola street. Keep the left, following directions "Lungarni"(PS: "Lungarni" means "banks of the river Arno") and turn left at the first light. Left again and drive towards the Old Tower that you see ahead (Piazza Piave). Keep driving and turn right in Lungarno della Zecca Vecchia. After 200 meters you are in front the Hotel Privilege.
If you are driving to Florence from Pisa/Genova by the A11 motorway, we suggest to drive south in direction Roma and use always the Firenze Sud A1 motorway exit. The hotel provides, at extra cost, a private garage/car park.
By Train:
From both railway stations "Santa Maria Novella" (main central station) and "Campo di Marte" you can take the Bus n. 13 direction Piazzale Michelangelo, and after 20 minutes (step-off at the "Zecca Vecchia 2" bus stop - 50 meters from the hotel) you are at the HOTEL PRIVILEGE.
By Flight:
From the International Florence-Peretola Airport "Amerigo Vespucci" we suggest to take a taxi that takes you in about 20 minutes at the Hotel Privilege. There is also a shuttle-bus that takes you at the Santa Maria Novella station in 20 minutes. From there you can take the taxi or the bus with the above mentioned directions.
From Pisa International Airport "Galileo Galilei" (80 km from Florence city centre) the best way is using the train from this airport with an approx. time of one hour and 15 minute, to the Santa Maria Novella railway station. |
