Residence La Torre is placed on Via delle Terme, really close to river Arno in central Florence. The major sights in the historical centre of the city cradle of Renaissance are within walking distance, including the Duomo only 5 minutes on foot.
NOTE: on your arrival you must stop by the offices to collect the keys to enter the apartment. They are placed on Via della Vigna Nuova 9, only 4 minutes walking from the Residence. The moment you get your keys, go along Via della Vigna Nuova, turn right into Via Tornabuoni and then left in Via delle Terme. |

By Plane
Peretola airport in the outskirts of Florence welcomes flights from Rome, London, Munich and Paris, among other cities in Europe, on a daily basis. It is placed only 11 kilometres from Residence La Torre and can be easily reached by public transport.
By Car
First of all, you should bear in mind that the area where the hotel is located is restricted for vehicles, therefore you will get as far as Santa Maria Nouvella station and then walk or take a bus to the inn. At the airport, after passing through the town of Sesto Fiorentino, go along Via dei Cipresi, Via di Montione and Viale 11 Agosto. You will come to a roundabout where you must drive along the first exit, Viale Alessandro Guidone. As you enter Florence, stay on this track before turning right in Via Enrico Forlanini. At a new roundabout, take the second exit and veer left into Via Francesco Redi. Continue along Viale Belfore and you will approach Piazzale di Porta al Prato: here, take your left and drive along Viale Fratelli Roselli. Turn right in Via Iacopo da Diacceto, go along Via Luigi Alamanni and you will reach the railway station. Past the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella, you must continue on foot along Via del Sole, Via della Spada, Via de Tornabuoni and Via delle Terme.
By Train
At Peretola airport you can take a shuttle service to Santa Maria Nouvella station, from where you may take a bus, number 6 or shuttles A, C and D- or ask for the transfer service provided by the inn (it must be booked 24 hours before your arrival and it also picks up guests at the airport). The easier way to reach the property is, though, on foot (it will take you 7 minutes from the station). If you come from Rome, you can take the trains departing to Santa Maria Nouvella station from the capital city (1 hour 40 minutes, approximately). |
