Only few steps from the residence, in piazza Ferrucci, you can find the bus stop of number 23a, 23b, 23c, 13 and the mini bus D which will bring you in the city centre.
From the station Santa Maria Novella: exiting from the main entrance and take the bus number 23a/b/c which will bring you at about 100 meters from residence Michelangiolo: get off in Piazza Ferrucci.
Attention!! Make sure to purchase your bus ticket first inside the station at the newspaper or tabacco stand.
By car:
- Coming from the north: Milano-Bologna-Venezia on the A1 motorway and exit at Firenze nord.
- Coming from the west: Firenze-Pisa-Seacoast A11 motorway and exit at Firenze.
From Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci of Firenze:
Follow the directions to Firenze and to the centre: "Centro - Viali Circonvallazione". Then follow the directions to Fortezza da Basso - viale Antonio Gramsci - piazza Beccaria - viale Giovine Italia. Arriving at the tower in piazza Piave, turn left in Lungarno Pecori Girali. Turn right on Ponte (bridge) San Niccolò, go around the roundabout and take viale Michelangiolo. Follow viale Michelangiolo until you get the traffic light. Pass the traffic light and go approximately 70 meters until you see the entrance of Residence Michelangiolo on your left at number 21. |
