Concierge staff were wonderfully kind, informative and helpful. Breakfasts were not always available. ... On a somewhat noisy street within a block of the Duomo, several blocks from the museum housing Michaelangelo's David and within walking distance of everything. Lovely and comfortable rooms.

The directions were very precise and the location could not have been better ... This hotel filled all our needs for our stay in Florence. The room was very clean and large. The hallways could use some freshening up. Everything was within walking distance. We would be hard pressed to find a better location.

The room and location were good. The hotel advertises itself as a B&B, but we found the breakfast to be very spartan and poorly staffed, with few choices and nowhere to eat (except our room). Also, a four-story hotel would greatly benefit from an elevator. ... I would advise a friend to stay elsewhere.

This place was amazing. Perfect location and a beautiful room. They recommended a restaurant hidden half a block away that was the best meal we had while in Italy. ... Great place to stay. Would stay there again. ... Beautiful hotel, great location.

arrived by taxi, so it was easy and no problem ... It felt like home ... Got great help in setting wake up call and taxi arrangements ... Traffic noise is definitely a factor if staying in a room facing the street ... Wonderful rooms, great staff, just the perfect place from which to explore Florence. We will stay there again for sure if visiting Florence.

Residenza dei Pucci was our first experience on staying in a B&B hotel and we were amazed by the quality of service and accomodation. The helpful, polite and considerate staff contributed to our pleasant stay in the hotel. It felt like home! ... An excellent, romantic B&B hotel, right in the heart of the historical centre, with exquisite service and logical prices. Highly recommended!!!

We were given a choice of rooms, a smaller room with a bath, or a larger room with a shower, and a slight view of the Duomo. We chose the larger room. ... We don't quite know why, but the bathroom smelled of sewage. It became quite unpleasant. ... I don't remember if this is on the website, but there is no elevator, so we had to carry our heavy luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Thankfully, the reception staff did help us carry our luggage up one of the flights when we arrived. ... A very nice, clean room. Bathroom smelled of sewage, but hopefully this can be corrected. Perfect location. Very close to major monuments. Nice in-room breakfast.

We were welcomed warmly, and were assisted with our bags to the third floor apartment. Everyone was very helpful. ... As you know, breakfast is provided in-room. It was more than adequate. The kitchen on the same level had a refrigerator with ice and butter, etc. If there was any disappointment, it was that the coffee was instant, rather than fresh brewed. However, it was excellent instant coffee.
We also asked advice about restaurants that had been recommended to us, and received good, candid response. The one we selected, which was also recommended by Residence dei Pucci staff, was perhaps the best we experienced in Italy. ... Again, everyone was very helpful and considerate. ... No - The rooms are quite large, the baths are also large and the decor is delightful. ... We would tell them - Residence dei Pucci is an ideal place to stay in Florence, quiet yet just around the corner from the Duomo and main piazza. We would say the hotel is small and elegant, the rooms are large and the decor contemporary, yet somehow in tune with the surroundings. We also felt quite safe and the staff is excellent.

Unfortunately due to the heavy traffic we arrived in Florence only just before 8.00 pm. The car park attendant took about 45 minutes to arrive, so in the end the receptionist had to stay until about 9.00 pm. It would in any case have been impossible for us to arrive in the Via dei Pucci by car because of the one-way system and road works. Surely there must be a solution to this ? ... You must explain that it's impossible to drive up to the door. Absolutely the only solution is to stop somewhere, then call the reception (by mobile phone) to arrange for the car parking attendant to pick up the car. This costs €20 per day but it's the only realistic solution. ... Very clean and nice, spacious and well-furnished rooms. Friendly staff (don't all speak English) but difficult to get to by car.

The response from the hotel was very prompt and confirmations were sent over email and thus didnot have an opportunity to track the reservation !! ... I arrived late (after 10PM) and also didnot get a chance to alert the staff. Being a B&B establishment, the staff normally leaves by 9PM, but on that day, the person was waiting for us to check in and explained in detail all the necessary ino we need to know. ... Good value for money and ideal of exploring the city anytime of the day/night.

I didn't need to, I left the email on my computer. ... No need. ... The Residenza dei Pucci was close to the train station and we decided to walk. The map we had did not list a lot of the streets that we crossed. With many incorrect turns, it took 45 min. to walk to the hotel. The day we left, it took 15 min. to walk back to train station! ... The street noise was very loud in our room (we had the King suite). My parents room a floor below was much quieter. ... Everything was within walking distance, about 15 - 20 minutes to the furthest church in town. Also it was centrally located making it very easy to drop by for a short rest in the middle of the day. ... Charming with a great central location.

The residence was quite comfortable. However the only issue is that the telephone service only works when someone is at the reception, which closes at 8.00 p.m. After that it is not possible to telephone the room as calls cannot be connected.
Also there did not seem to e an elevator and you do have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the rooms.
... The breakfast that is provided in the room is not very good. Just a bunch of snacks like you would get from a vending maching. Most of the time we just drank coffee and left and did not touch the food. Also the other BIG problem is that there is no refrigerator in the room, so one cannot buy any perishable items like milk etc and store. Please provide a small refrigerator. Finally, please provide proper toilet supplies, not the tiny little hand soaps. ... A comfortable, clean, but no-frills residence house. If you get a good price for the rooms (under 100 Euros), this could be good value for your money as the location is fantastic.

Not all rooms were ready but the staff were so friendly and got our large group of 26 situated in no time ... The hotel made arrangements for us at the Accademia, Uffizi, and even arranged a bus tour for our group of 26 to go to Pisa. I was absolutely pleased with this hotel and would definately recommend it to others. It has a great location and I felt safe bringing 20 high school kids to Florence as a result. ... We had an early train to catch so no one was there when we checked out. ... GREAT LOCATION! Breakfast not that large - there is no real place to eat as there is no room set aside for breckfast. ... Perfect location, Accademia is just blocks away, laundry nearby, duomo just around the corner...

I was really happy with the location of the Bed and Breakfast. There was ALOT of noise in my room from the street. The worst I've ever had in a hotel. Almost as if there was no wall at all. Also, there was no elevator, and we had a third floor room. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but I think these are both important factors your clients would appriciate knowing. ... You offer a great range of accomadations with easy on line availability to browse and explore. I will highly recommend your service, as well as use it again. Thank You! ... Very good location. Attractive, clean and comfortable room with nice ambiance. Staff was very acommadating and personable.

My family had a wonderful stay at Residenzia dei Pucci. We stayed in the 'penthouse', which was to our surprise an enormous room. Victor gave us wonderful suggestions for dinner and welcomed us to use anything in the kitchen - he said, 'here you are family'. The water coolers were a nice touch as well. We wanted to stay an additional night, but they were booked - I understand why, what a wonderful hotel. Thank you. Please pass on this note to Residenzia dei Pucci with our thanks. Sincerely, Kristen Jordan ... Can you state there is NO elevator? ... This is a clean, spacious and very hospitable hotel in the center of Florence. We couldn't have asked for better service from reception. Very polite, informative, and willing to spend the time we needed to get our visit in Florence started.
Gabriele helped us not only check in and get settled, but was very helpful with information we needed to start our 'adventure' He even helped us book a morning city tour that was everything and more than we expected. He is certainly an outstanding representative for Residenza dei Pucci. ... Excellent location - great value! Can't say enough good things about the reception staff. They were kind and courteous as well as very helpful.
The location was excellent - one short block from the Duomo and just a short walk from the Academia (David). We walked everywhere including to Boboli Gardens and had no problems. ... Again, Gabriele was outstanding in his service to us. Everything was as contracted and we would certainly recommend him and this property to all our friends planning a visit to Firenza. ... The instructions to drive to the hotel are somewhat complex, but after contacting the hotel via email, they confirmed our route plan. However, driving in mid-city Firenza is not an easy task. If there are other arrangements for visitor driving to Firenza, they should probably be included on all the old city locations - or at least a link from each of the property websites. Everything worked out for us, but I think we're quite a bit more 'adventuresome' than many visitors to the city, I think. ... Excellent location - Excellent value, Quality accomodations, Excellent, helpful reception staff. We would highly recommend the Residenza dei Pucci.

Gabriel and Victor were most kind and gracious. Gabriel helped us with our many questions and gave us good directions. The room was lovely and a perfect place for our family for Christmas day. Residenza dei Pucci was our favorite lodging during our entire stay in Italy (including hotels in Rome and Sienna.) We will definitely return! ... We liked having the hot water pot with the breakfast. The food however was not our favorite--we supplemented at local markets for fresh fruit and bread. ... Although the doors to the residenza dei pucci is usually closed by 8pm, the receptionist was wonderful enough to wait for us to arrive at around 10:30pm (we called her from the Pisa airport to let her know what time to expect us).
The walk from the train station was manageable, even with luggage. At 10:30pm, there were still many people on the street and we felt quite safe. ... Our room was one of the ones listed on the website. The bathroom was a good size, the room was clean, and breakfast included coffee, tea, biscuits, cereal, bread & crackers. . The carpet was made of this yarny uncomfortable material - so I would recommend having slippers in the room.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. For the price, this is a great find. It was conveniently located - only about 3 blocks from the Duomo. ... As long as you're not expecting to find a 4 or 5-star luxurious hotel you shouldn't be disappointed.
Do know that you need to walk up some stairs to get to the reception area & the rooms. And incoming calls cannot be connected to your room when the office is closed. ... If you want a decent place for a decent price, you should definitely consider this B&B. Great value for the money. Some of our other friends stayed at more expensive places that were not nearly as nice. It's centrally located to everything. The staff was nice and we felt very safe there.
