In fact it was my second stay in Villa Le Rondine so I could not ecpect something different from what I experiences a year before.

I would much prefer if the check-out time was 12 am instead of 10 am

I presume that more pictures of the territory surrounding the villa will help customers to make up their mind about choosing this hotel.

Ancient villa with a wonderful view over Florence, very homely, just perfect for a family with children or a small group of friends. The surrounding territory is really beautiful and very spacious. Access to the city center is a matter of 15 min (or less) by car.

There was a Italian rail strike on scheduled arrival day and customer was not able to arrive as planned and called hotel, but were not able to get 1st night refunded.

the service and food was excellent. The dining room waiter and Hotel Manager were very good. The waiter I believe was from Sri Lanka

There's quite a long walk from the gate to the hotel which is not lit at night. That should change i guess.

You should state that there's no business center, restricted times for eating, no nearby shops.

Very peaceful, quite, amazing surrounding and view. The rooms are OK. Nothing fancy. Quite a different experience.

The restaurant was not as good as expected (price relation). Tips for restaurants 'around the corner' would be helpfull.

Nice old style villa. Perfectly located to have a nice, quiet sleep with fresh air, completly different to the smogy air downtown. Perfect bus connection to city.

The room was great, the area was beautiful. I would suggest that the menu have prices on it, as we had no idea what dinner would cost.
As for the room, it should have at least two luggage racks and if the terrace is going to be used as a room (which in our case it was and we were charged for it, then it MUST have airconditioning. Our daughter kept the windows open, and her face and neck were badly covered with mosquito bites. Finally, the tennis courts of this property have not been kept up, they really need some work. The pool area was quite pleasant, and the staff was kind.

I am a Travel Agent completing this form for my customer. I have stayed at the Villa le Rondini a number of times, the first in 1973. I have used the property many times and always with excellent feedback.

We arrived hot and tired and our room still had the pervious occupants bedclothes & bathroom towels on the floor.
The Air con was not on and there was a small patch of ceiling wallpaper hanging down in the corner.
We were really disappointed so spoke to the recption lady who was excellant and allowed us to choose from 3 other rooms.
We chose another room which was lovely and enjoyed our stay.

I had hoped for a rustic elegance.
I got a very elegant hotel a little scruffy around the edges, great staff, overall charming.

Beautiful, away from the bustle of the city, great service, dont expect manicured presentation expect rustic!!!
