San Frediano Mansion is located in an historic palace of the 15th century, close to the centre of the city. In the palace you can admire a beautiful "affresco" with Saint Joseph, Mary and Jesus.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and one particular alcove has elaborate stuccos and frescoes on the ceiling. |
 During the 18th century the Marchesi Capponi enlarged the building transforming it into a Renaissance style. There is a quaint garden accessible from Lungarno Soderini: a small peaceful courtyard in the city.
Today the San Frediano is a bed and breakfast with four rooms on the second floor. It was restored in 2003 and it has a lift. San Frediano is perfectly located to discover the most interesting sights of Florence. |
