By Plane
Peretola airport, in the outskirts of Florence, welcomes flights from many cities in Europe as well as Rome and Milan on a regular basis. It is placed 9 kilometres away from the property and can be easily reached either by car or public transport.
By Car
It will take you 20 minutes to drive to the Relais from the airport in Florence. As you leave Sesto Fiorentino, the town where the terminal is placed, continue along Vialle delle Idee and take your left at Via Generoso Patrone. Next, go along Via Madonna del Piano, passing Sesto Fiorentino before coming to a roundabout: once here, take the first exit into Via Pier Paolo Pasolini, turn left into Via del Termine and then right again. Drive on straight on Viale 11 Agosto, which will lead you into Florence: go along Via Sestese and afterwards take your right at Via Reginaldo Giuliani. After Piazza Dalmazia, take your left into Via Carlo Pisacane. Go along Via Angiolo Tavanti, Piazza Pietro Leopoldo and Via Francesco Gianni, make a U-turn in Francesco Gianni and take the second exit at Piazza Pietro Leopoldo`s roundabout, Via Giovanni Fabbroni. Turn right at Via Vittorio Emanuelle II, again in Via Luigi Lanzi and drive along Viale dei Cardona. Take your right at Via Giuseppe Cesare Abba and then left in Via della Cernaia, going around Piazza della Victoria. Continue along Ruffini and Poliziano streets before turning right in Via di Santa Caterina d`Alessandria. Take your left at Via delle Ruote and finally right in Santa Reparata. The hotel will come into view on number 17.
By Train
At Peretola terminal you may take an interurban bus to Santa Maria Novella railway station in central Florence. Once you reach it, you may walk to the property (a 5 minutes stroll: go along Via Nazionale, turn right at Via Guelfa and left in the second street, Santa Reparata) or get on buses 1, 7, 10, 17 or 25 up to the stop "San Marco Square". Here, just walk along Via degli Arazzieri and turn left at the second street, Santa Reparata. If you are coming from Rome, there are services from the Eurostar line that arrive in Florence (Santa Maria Novella) after a trip of 1 hour and a half. |
