 After a full refurbishment, now Hotel Savoy has been restored to its former splendour and rightful position as one of the best hotels in the city. The new design has given the hotel a fresh and elegant look but ensured that all the comforts and facilities expected in a five-star hotel are there. All rooms are equipped with the latest technology and are fully air-conditioned.
Many have walk-in wardrobes, which give an extra sense of space. As part of the refurbishment we added an extra floor to the top of the building and the rooms there have beautiful views over the rooftops and beyond to the Tuscan hills.
Crisp linen sheets adorn the beds and the floors are parquet. Special mosaics decorate the bathrooms and quirky prints of shoes are on the walls throughout the hotel - a charming reminder of Florence's many artisans. In addition, our exclusive range of Italian bathroom products are placed there for you to enjoy. |
 The interior decoration of all the 107 rooms and 9 suites has been given a typical Italian elegant style, choosing particular ceramics, objects and materials. Throughout the Hotel there are beautiful parquet floors and some rooms also feature natural fabric carpets. All the bedrooms are essentially furnished with contemporary look and the majority are complemented by trendy sculptures and fashionable photography.
All windows have double glazing and a large number of rooms also features small balconies, and all rooms are equipped with an individualised heating/cooling system. All bathrooms have either white or beige marble with various mosaics. Comfortable walk-in closets are also available in 80% of the bedrooms.
All rooms include air-conditioning, computer-outlets, voice mail, two telephone lines, mini bar, safety box, satellite television, hairdryer and a writing desk. |
 Studio Rooms - All Studio Rooms can be Twin or King bedded. Some of them are offering stunning views over the ancient square. The size of the Studio Room is about 35 - 40 sqm (114,83 - 131,23 ft).
Deluxe Rooms - They have a Twin or King Bed. Some deluxe Rooms offer beautiful views (view cannot be guaranteed at time of booking) and balcony. Some rooms are connecting to other Deluxe or Executive Double. The size is about 30 sqm (98,43 ft).
Executive Rooms - They have a Twin or Queen Bed and some offer beautiful views (view cannot be guaranteed at the time of booking). Some rooms are connecting to Deluxe or Classic Double. The size is about 30 sqm (98,43 ft).
Classic Rooms - They have a Twin or Queen Bed and some offer beautiful views (view cannot be guaranteed at time of booking). Some rooms are connecting to other Classic or Executive Double. The size is about 25 sqm (82 ft).
Executive Single Rooms - They have a Queen Bed and some offer beautiful views (view cannot be guaranteed at time of booking). The size is about 20 sqm (65,6 ft). |
 In addition to the large selection of standard room types, Hotel Savoy boasts three luxurious suite types:
Suite Repubblica - Situated on the second floor of the Hotel, the Suite Repubblica can be Twin or King Bed. It overlooks the ancient square and has a huge view on Piazza della Repubblica and includes two balconies. The Suite Repubblica is connecting to a Double Deluxe Room. The size is about 65 sqm (180,45 ft).
Executive Suites - All Executives Suites have a King Bed and are overlooking the ancient square and have a view of the cathedral and of Brunelleschi's cupola. Some of them do have a balcony. A few have a separate guest toilet. The size of the Executive Suites is about 45 - 50 sqm (147,64 - 164 ft).
Classic Suites - All Classic Suites can be Twin or King bedded. The difference with the Executive Suites is that they have no particular view. Some of them do have a balcony and separate guest toilet. The size of the Classic Suites is about 45 - 50 sqm (147,64 - 164 ft). |
