By Air (Amerigo Vespucci Airport):
The Amerigo Vespucci airport is 5km from the centre of Florence, a taxi ride to the Serristori Palace takes approximately 25 minutes, A valid option is to take the shuttle bus service that goes from the airport to the Santa Maria Novella Station. Here you can take a taxi in a more affordable way or bus no. 23.
By Train:
Arriving at the central station of Santa Maria Novella you can take a taxi to reach the residence. If you prefer a bus, at the end of the platform, turn right and cross the road. Out the station you'll find the bus-stop, where you'll have to take bus number 23. Get off at the second bus-stop in Lungarno Serristori.
By car:
From Milan: take the A1 motorway, exit at "Firenze Nord" and follow the directions for the centre. When you get to the end of Viale Francesco Redi, turn right and then left onto Via Guido Monaco. Go down to the end of the road and turn left onto Via Fratelli Rosselli. Having passed the rail underpass follow the Viali di Circonvallazione next to the Fortezza da Basso. Go along Viale Spartaco Lavagnini and than Viale Giacomo Matteotti and Viale Antonio Gramsci until you get to Piazza della Beccaria. Go along Viale della Giovine Italia, at the traffic light turn left and take Lungarno Giraldi, at the next traffic light turn right and cross the San Niccolò bridge. After passing the bridge, before the traffic light turn right. Follow the embankment along Lungarno Cellini. After Piazza Poggi, where you can see a tall tower, you will find Lungarno Serristori where our residence is located at number 13. You can't miss it.
- From Rome: take the A1 motorway, exit at "Firenze Sud" and follow the directions for the centre. When you reach the traffic light at the end at Lungarno del Tempio turn left and cross the San Niccolo bridge. After passing the bridge, before the traffic light turn right. Follow the embankment along Lungarno Cellini. After Piazza Poggi, where you can see a tall tower, you will find Lungarno Serristori where our residence is located at number 13. |
