Our arrival details were not properly communicated to the person who greeted us at the apartment. As a result, we had to wait outside with all of our luggage for quite a while before we were buzzed in. ... Great apartment - couldn't ask for anything more (except the internet)! Excellent location too! ... The website was very helpful and I could not think of anything that I would add. ... Wonderful location, very spacious apartment, felt right at home. Also, we heard beautiful opera singers practicing in the building each day and it was absolutely wonderful. Additionally, there is a great restaurant just downstairs where they give you a discount for staying at the apartment. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Florence!

Gabriella was very helpful. She provided lots of useful information regarding our stay such as good restaurants and the food market location. The restaurant downstairs was excellent and gave us a discount when we told them we were guests in the building. ... The apartment is spacious, comfortable and clean. Many of the lights were not working. The remote controls for the a/c were missing in the kitchen and dining room so cooking and eating were very warm. The dishwasher is not secured in the counter and falls forward when you open the door to load it. ... Spacious, comfortable and clean. Well equipped with clean linens and towels and everthing you would need in the kitchen. Perfect for a large group or multiple families traveling together. Excellent location. Walk to all major sites.

GABRIELLA GAVE US SOME INFO ON GOOD RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA, AND THEY WERE INDEED QUITE GOOD, SHE WAS A GREAT HELP. ... GREAT APT, GREAT LOCATION, WOULD STAY AGAIN, AND RECCOMMEND TO OUR FRIENDS.

Generally good, although we did not have the actual address, only the name of the street. This caused a slight delay in accessing the accomodation. However, things were eventually sorted out satisfactorily. ... We were very pleased with the accomodation. It was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. It was very convenient for the centre of Florence. ... No problems. ... I am not aware of any. ... I would recommend it.

It is not far from the train station but you need a good map which is available at the tourist info office at the Naples Centrale station. If you plan to walk from the station, make sure that your luggage has good wheels as most of the walk is quite bumpy for small wheels. One of our party had luggage with tiny wheels and had to carry the luggage for most of the way.
... Gabriella who is the person who meets you at the apartment is very friendly is available for questions after by phone. You are pretty much on your own to figure out the area if you have not been to Florence before. ... We called Gabriella around check out and were told to just leave the keys in the apartment and left without seeing anyone. ... A good guide book is essential if you are staying in Firenze for the first time. Our main source for finding out things specific to the apartment was the guest book that others had signed before us. ... It was a lovely 15th century apartment that was spacious and clean. It is very centrally located between San Lorenzo cathedral and the Duomo. Borgo San Lorenzo is mainly a tourist street and staying there means that you can pretty much walk to all parts of the city. The only time we took a bus was to go to Piazelle Michael Angelo.
The market centrale is very close by for buying groceries and there is a supermarket close by as well.

The apartment was surprisingly very quiet, and yet in a very central position.
The only facility we were unable to use in the apartment was the oven as it was broken. This was explained to us on arrival but there were no attempts to repair it. ... The Conti apartment was situated at the back of the building, so therefore very quiet. ... An apartment which is very central and yet very quiet. The Conti apartment was a 'haven' in a very busy noisy city !
