By plane: Peretola airport in the outskirts Florence welcomes connections from Rome, London, Munich and Paris, among other cities in Europe, being the most important terminal in the Tuscany region. It is placed only 5 kilometres from the property and can be easily reached by car or public transport.
By car: You will have to drive around 5 kilometres (25 minutes) from Peretola airport to the inn. Once you leave Sesto Fiorentino, where the terminal is located, go along Via dei Cipresi, Via di Montione and Viale 11 Agosto. You will come to a roundabout where you must take the first exit into Viale Alessandro Guidone. As you enter Florence, drive along Via Alessandro Guidoni, turn right in Via Enrico Forlanini and then left into Via Francesco Redi. Take your right in Viale Belfiore and as you reach Porta al Prato, veer left in Viale Fratelli Roselli. Take your right into Via Iacopo Da Diacetto, continue along Via Luigi Alamanni, Via della Scala and Piazza Santa Maria Novella. Take Via Nazionale, turn right in Via Guelfa and left in Via dei Fibbiai. Take your left at Piazza Santa Annunziata and once again in Via dei Servi.
By train: At Peretola airport you may take a shuttle service to Santa Maria Novella station, from where you may take a taxi (10 minutes drive) or walk to the inn. In this last case, take Via Nazionale, turn right in Via Guelfa and left in Via dei Servi.
If your luggage is too heavy and you'd rather not walk, buses 7, 10, 14 and 23 stop right in Piazza San Marco or Piazza del Duomo. Also, if your plane lands in Rome, you can take trains leaving to Santa Maria Novella station on a regular basis (1 hour 40 minutes trip, approximately). |
