As the weather was particularly cold during our stay, we felt the heating could have been put on somewhat earlier in the afternoon/evening.

Value for money and right at the bussini bus stop, therefore, easy to get to all tourist attractions and, right opposite the Pallazzo Pitti, with beautiful view from the breakfast table.

There was some rotting on the wall in the bedroom as water was leaking through outside wall.

5 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio and 20 minute walk from most attractions/tourist sites. Bus stop right outside hotel which goes to/from Train station for €1. This is much cheaper than taxi which is about €10 each way.

Perhaps it will be an extra plus if you can get som bread at breakfast. Many B&B in Italy offer only a sweet cookie which mostly tastes very good but not in the early morning.
Otherwise I had a very good stay at the Siggornio Pitti and am looking forward to stay there again, some other year!

We have already recommended Soggiorno Pitti to others that may be in Firenze. We were happy with the location, the service, and the amenities. We would not hesitate to book again were we to be in Firenze. A very pleasant experience!

The only disappointing thing was the breakfast, which was all packaged, with coffee from a machine. However, considering the very central situation this was probably fair value for the money.

Not a luxury hotel, but quite comfortable and in an ideal situation for visiting central Florence.

Location was great with only 5 minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio. Bed was almost new and very comfortable.
Unfortunately there was a strong smell of bleach from the bathroom during the whole period of my stay. TV didn't work. Breakfast was very basic and there was very little offered. I would recommend eating breakfast outside the hotel.

One day we did not have breakfast (none available) and in the bathroom when you take a shower the water goes from hot to cool all the time in seconds

After initially having a front room which was very noisy from the road, we were transferred without any fuss to a rear bedroom which was quiet and equally comfortable. Our hosts were always helpful and booked visits for us with no hesitation.

Hotel was happy to look after our luggage safely for the day as our flight was not until the evening.

Positive - nice to have a breakfast room.
Negative - front bedroom extremely noisy due to the volume of traffic passing Palazzo Pitti on the one-way system.

Good value - no frills - an excellent base to visit Florence whilst not being in the centre of the City.
