| | | Hotel Unicorno is pleasantly situated on a street full of antique shops in the heart of Florence , close to the central station, museums, monuments, as well as the Congress Centre and Fortezza da Basso Exhibition Centre.
The hotel is in an old Florentine building from the 15th century, which has recently been renovated, offering all modern comforts but keeping many of the original features, such as the lovely vaulted ceilings in the reception area.
The owners are a Japanese-Italian couple, who have decorated the interiors with Japanese and Florentine items.
An American breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast room from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.
