Staff very helpful, arranged tickets for art galleries.
We were on the top floor so we had 60 steps to climb, but otherwise accomodation very clean.
Breakfast was not worth bothering with, no fresh bread or milk.

It would be impossible,if you were not able to climb stairs for any reason.

Pleasant staff, clean comfortable beds,very convenient for station and tourist attractions.

It was very pleasent to be there, the accomodations were fine and the people were very helpful and very nice and polite, all of our family enjoyed since the hotel is the area that you can walk and see the interesting places in Firence.

I have traveled to close to 30 countries, and this was one of the best stays that I have had. The rooms were spacious, and the staff very professional and courteous - THE BEST!! I would re-consider staying there again without hesitation! The Hotel Varsavia represents Italy quite well!

My kudos to Hotel Varsavia -- I cannot say enough good things about them. I wish there were more Hotel Varsavias...of course, they would have to have the same Owner, receptionists (Edi, and Fernando) and breakfast overseer. My hats off to them!

Confusing accomodation as I was not aware that my private bathroom was down the corridor from my bedroom - not ideal! Perhaps I had simply missed this but would have preferred en suite. Otherwise very pleasant central hotel. Breakfast:excellent fresh coffee+ croissant but little buffet sparse and dreadful watery fruit juice.

My single room was at top of stairs and I virtually stepped out on to the staircase, this was a little dangerous from the Health and Safety perspective, especially if a guest had a sight difficulty! However someone might also bump into any gate and that could be worse.

The staff were superb and the accomdation excellent, could have done with plug sockets in the bedroom though. but otherwise excellent. would stay there again.please pass on my coments to the staff.

This hotel was very clean and suprisingly quiet for being on the square with a market. Very enjoyable experience. Free internet access was a plus for quick check-in's with family.

A very convenient location (we walked with our bags from the train) and central to most things of interest. Very polite staff and very well kept rooms. Breakfast was excellent and the coffee was wonderful!!!

We arrived early and the room was not cleaned yet but staff arranged for us to leave our luggage in the room until we returned.

Their creidt card machine was not working so I had to pay with cash, which I hadn't planned.

We were met by a very friendly and helpful receptionist who was also speaking very good English!

It was either better or worse, but the stairs were very difficult to pass with a suitcase, especially to the third floor.The single rooms were very small and in one of them ther was a smell of old cigarette smoking.

OK for those of us staying in the double and triple rooms, but not for the single rooms.

I don`t remember everything on the Web site, but I think it was OK. Perhaps there could be a choice between smoking and non-smoking rooms, and it had been good to know about the size of the single rooms.
