Fabio was wonderful in making us feel very welcome. Fabio's English is superb, which will be a plus for those who know very little Italian. For me it was fun to converse with him in Italian. Although I am not fluent,he made me feel as though I were.

From the description the suite (La Pigna)and images on the web, I did not realize that it was a Garden suite (no windows to the outside) but a wonderful private patio outside our door nicely decorated and flowered was a welcome surprise.

My only minor disappoint was the unavailability of a phone in our suite. However, Fabio allowed his cell phone to be called if necessary for incoming callsm and there was a phone in the restaurant that could be used to call out.
I would stress the fact that Fabio has a restaurant on the property. We ate there twice during our four day stay. The food was true Tuscan,superbly prepared and reasonably priced.

A wonderful hideaway from the congestion of Firenze. Located in the hills outside the city with a country feeling but yet only 3-4 miles from the city center which is easily accessible by car or better yet by bus. (bus stop was within 50 yards of the property)

Everything was provided - from water in the fridge to breakfast to things in the bathroom & the whole place was comfortable and pleasant.

The bonus of being next to the excellent restaurant could be emphasised.
The road alongside is busy & a bit noisy.

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped, with good provision for breakfast and excellent restaurant next door - a real find!

it would be great if there was a fan in the appartmet. some times it gets very hot,and a
fan ,or a ceiling fan would make a big
diffrens.

it is a charming place, with a nice homely
feel, very nice resterant,and a nice garden.
it does get a little noisy,since it is very close to the rode, but we enjoyed it very much.

we arrived late due to travel delays and there was someone waiting in the oarking lot foe us...which was nice and made it easy for us...

only problem was sound travelling from one apt to other...one night i was on phone late and disturbed someone in next apt....i felt as though i should wisper the rest of the trip.....and bugs..mosquitos...my daughter was bitten up at night as there are no screens and no ac...

My family and I were very pleased with Guest House Villino Giulia; the accommodations were wonderful. Not to mention the terrific basket of goodies for our breakfast and the well appointed kitchen in our upstairs room. I would definitely stay again on our next trip to Florence. Our only concern was the bus stop. While it is very close to the guest house it is located on a very busy street and to get to it you must walk ON the street (no walkway available). Not very safe for a family travelling with small children. We used taxis after our first experience with the buses! (only 10 euros to the center of Florence; well worth it!)

Beautiful. I would truly recommend the larger upstairs room to a family and would suggest staying for longer than one night so you can try out the onsite trattoria one evening. Plus the location to Florence is incredibly accessible and not difficult to drive to, coming from outside of the city. I would suggest to park your car at the guest house and take a taxi to save time and headache trying to park in the city or catching buses!

The directions should be much more specific from the A1 Autostrade coming from either direction. It took us quite a bit to get on teh right track once we entered Florence, but the people we stopped to ask directions were very good. It helped us to start practicing our Italian at least!

Fantastic! It was a gorgeous room villa - spacious, clean, and safe; great hosts; wonderful restaurant on-site; nice location right outside of the Centro.

Beautiful, quiet, immaculate, comfortable. I would definitely go back to the Villino Giulia.

villa is very clean and spacious.we also had a cat to keep us companied for the night!location is central, once we re more familiar with florence. however it is quite noisy as it is located next to a very busy road. they are building a new tunnel thru the mountains however.

If they installed a washer and dryer and an internet hot spot they could get a lot more money and deserve it. Also, they would need to get CNN in English.

Tastefully furnished, comfortable, close enough to Firenze but allowing one to experience the Italian countryside and get away from the tourist mobs. The garden is beautiful and so are the vista's from the windows.
