We arrived 3 hours late and they were very accommodating. We simply phoned them and let them know our revised arrival time and they were there.

The Via dell'Orto Apartment was exactly as it was presented on-line. The staff were very friendly, helpfull and hospitable.
I highly recommend them. The location of the apartment was perfect. It is just outside the heavy tourist area and there are ample shops, bakeries, deli, cafe, mini markets within 1-3 blocks of the location.
The prices of the shops around the location are significantly lower than on the tourist side of the river.
The sofa bed is even comfortable.

Great location: 10-15 minute walk to all major locations. Bakeries, Butcher shops, cafe(s), excellent restaurant, Internet access point all within 1-2 blocks.
All the shops around the apartment were very friendly and easy to deal with in English, even those who said they only spoke a little English.
Supermarket within a 10 minute walk, mini market within a 2 minute walk. Train station within 15 minute walk.
Quality bedding.
I am sure you have other great locations and operators, but I can not help but think this location and staff should be listed at the top of the Highly Recommended list.

Absolutely. The guest book is full of very positive experiences of others.
I plan on staying there the next time we are in Italy and will travel to all the other locations from Florence. It is truly considered my home away from home in Italy.

Although it was raining Lorenzo met us at
the apartment promptly and let us in. He was
at his cell number when we called from the
station.

I had no idea from the website images how
lovely and cozy the apartment is. Please
take some more images because the flat is a
jewel, filled with light, spacious, quiet.

Francesca was very efficient in checking us
out and calling a cab to take us to the
train station. We feel we got excellent
value for our money and would recommmend it
highly to anyone else.

The absolute quiet and plentiful amenities.
Everything we required to make our stay
pleasant was furnished in the apartment.

A real find, if they can spend a week in
Firenze, definitely consider the apartment.
Tall ceilings, quiet, cable tv, fully
equipped kitchen, great bathroom and nice
firm bed as well as enough light to read at
night-- all this and more. In addition the
confidence of having wonderful contacts in
Lorenzo and Francesca should anything arise
that needed attention.

Francesca was very helpful in showing us all the ammenities of the apartment. She was very accomodating when we had to change the pick up time on the day. The map of ammenities in the neighbourhood that was provided by Francesca was very helpful.

A very nice, clean and well equiped apartment in a good area of the city. Wouldn't go in the summer as there is no balcony or outside space.
