From A1 Highway: take the exit "Firenze Certosa". Go in the direction of Florence and at the second traffic light turn right into Via Gherardo Silvani, at the far end of the big square. Continue on Via Silvani for about 1 km. where the road divides: keep to the right. Villa Le Piazzole is on the left behind a gated entrance.
From Florence Airport: at the first traffic light, turn right and enter the A11 motorway. After about 5 Km. take the exit to "Roma" and enter the A1 highway, direction "Roma". After about 10 Km. take the exit "Firenze Certosa" and from there follow the above instructions.
Villa Le Piazzole has two gated entrances, one on via Suor Maria Celeste 28 that is normally used to walk to Florence or to take a taxi, and one on Via Gherardo Silvani 147 for private vehicles. |
