San Michele Restaurant: The San Michele Restaurant is located in the Monastery of the Villa San Michele. During the warmer months the Loggia offers al fresco dining with breathtaking views of Florence, while the Cloister and the Cenacolo room offer elegant indoor dining. The restaurant is open from March to November to guests and non-residents.
Evening on the Loggia: The lights glitter across the Arno Valley, little changed since the Rennaisance. The sound of a grand piano gently fills the evening air, Tuscan dishes and sumptuous Italian wines, impeccable service. An evening to treasure.
Lunch al fresco: A relaxed al fresco lunch on the Loggia of the Villa San Michele. Relax and linger over Tuscan specialities and fresh Italian wines, beautifully prepared by Chef Attilio di Fabrizio and his team. A time to reflect on the glories of Florence, or to plan the next adventure.
The Cloister: The beautiful Cloister of the Old Monastery serves fine Tuscan cuisine in an elegant and historic setting. The covered roof protects from the elements for comfortable dining throughtout the year. The Cloister is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner each day. |
The Cenacolo Room: In cooler weather, the Cenacolo room is warm and inviting with its sober colours and open fire. The fresco of the Last Supper has been carefully restored, bringing back the beauty of when it was first created in 1602.

Sport & Fitness: Relaxing at the Villa San Michele comes naturally with the unmatched views from the panoramic pool, whilst a small gymnasium allows guests to expend some energy without missing the beautiful views. For the more adventurous mountain bikes are available for trips to Fiesole of Florence, where cyclists will find excellent pedestrian areas and cycle tracks. Local golf clubs offer championship quality courses, whilst horse riding through the Tuscan countryside and tennis are all on hand nearby. |
 The Panoramic Pool: Located on the third terrace, the swimming pool enjoys an incredible view across the Arno Valley and Florence. The shade of the olive trees protects the lounging swimmers from the full force of the summer sun. Reached by a winding gravel path, it is situated on a wide, grassy plateau above the gardens and is enhanced by cascading waters. A light lunch can be served by the pool.
The Gymnasium: A small gymnasium is available in the hotel containing weights from one to ten kilograms, two bicycles, a treadmill and a step machine. Changing facilities include showers, toilets, hairdryers, towels, basins etc. All equipment in the gym faces the window which allows a breathtaking view of Florence over the hotel roofs. Massages can be arranged in the rooms and masseurs are available upon request through the Concierge.

He can also provide full details of all train and plane connections and arrange ticketing for train journeys.
