An extremely overpriced hotel with an amazing view of Florence that believes it's more than it is. The Chef's creations were subpar in both presentation and creativity for the ridiculous prices they charged.

WE WROTE IN ONE OF OUR FIRST MAILS THAT IT WAS A 40-BIRTHDAY OCCASION YOU REPLIED YOU TOOK WELL NOTE OF THIS- BUT THAT SATURDAY 29-07 NOTHING SPECIAL HAD BEEN DONE ... THE LOUNGERS WERE A BIT OLD- THERE WERE NO FLATSCREENS IN THE ROOM - MUSIC INSTALLATION ALSO A BIT OLD FASHIONED - ABSENCE OF WIFI IN THE ROOM
HONESTLY FOR THIS PRICE, WE HAVE SEEN BETTER ... WE WERE VERY CURIOUS HOW AN ACCOMODATION FOR 2083€ SHOULD LOOK LIKE. WE WERE SURPRISED WE HAD TO CHOOSE HALF BOARD - NO PRICE FOR ACCOMODATION ONLY COULD BE PROPOSED. THIS IS SAD BECAUSE WE LIKE OUR FREEDOM IN CHOOSING WHAT WE WANT. FINALLY WE PAID A BIT MORE PER NIGHT COMPARED TO OUR PROPOSAL. ... WE ARE GLAD WE HAVE BEEN THERE - BUT THERE IS NO 'WHOWWW' EFFECT

This was the 1st hotel I've stayed at in Europe in which the room was not available when I arrived. ... Excellent property--beautiful grounds, lovely roons. However, the property is outrageously priced and is not appropriate value for the money. We paid 1400 euros a night for a room and NOTHING other than breakfast, including water in the room, was included.
