The accommodations were great....immaculately clean, very good breakfasts. The street is quiet but only a block from the Duomo. The best aspect though were the staff...Ines and Sonia especially but all were great. I left feeling we had made new friends and I am writing several of my local travel agencies to let them know what a pleasant experience we had.

very polite and professional.
I did not really read the voucher and they just took it and said everything is fine.
I knew it would be room and breakfast so that was not too complicated.

nice middle-class hotel with excellent position in the map of florence. Clean, comfortable and a very good continental breakfast with good cappuchino without separate fee. Can be recommended !!
I will go there again.

not signifcantly worse, but the communal areas weren't what we expected - and there was no visible bar or restaurant despite being listed on the website.

Although the hotel was fair value for the area, i would not stay in the centre of florence again as everything is incredibly overpriced.

The biggets bonus is that despite being two minutes away from the Duomo the hotel is on a peaceful street so it feels easy to escape the tour groups.

Great if you have limited mobility and need to be right in the centre of the city, and if you're someone who needs a certain level of service to help in your holiday. If you are fairly independent and would rather save your pennies I'd advise staying further out from the centre - and you'll avoid the millions of tour groups, too.. Would have been nice to have some outdoor space..

We arrived late and the owner's were there to welcome us. They were very nice.

Room was clean and pleasant. The location is fantastic - cannot be beat. Of note was we were late for breakfast one morning, and the lady who looked after breakfast brought us a Latte and some pastries and fruit. The breakfasts were delicious.

The staff arranged a taxi which arrived on time and had our bill ready. I will recommend this hotel to friends.

A charming inn located close to everything in a 500 year old building. We didn't need an alarm as we were awoken by the bells of the Duomo. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant to talk with. Definately a great place to stay in Florence.

I have stayed at the Hotel Benivieni on a previous visit to Florence...It's a great hotel, my favorite actually...the staff is very friendly and accomodating ...and the location and rooms are fantastic...they also make a great cappuccino and this wonderful little breakfast sandwich which I am still craving...Kathleen Richardson

The directions were confusing ONLY because the streets we needed to use seemed to be closed to cars. We called the hotel for advice/directions and were told we could drive on those streets ONLY to get to the hotel, and then we noticed the signs in the streets saying we were allowed to drive there to access specific hotels.
We were met at the hotel by a wonderful man who was extrememly helpful and incredibly sweet.

Truly this was our favorite hotel from our trip. We had been to Rome, Venice and Sienna before our Florence stay and Hotel Benivieni was/is our favorite hotel.
The hotel was SMOKE FREE which was WONDERFUL for us because we are non-smokers.
The hotel was super clean.
The hotel was located in a fantastic area.
The hotel was just incredible.

Our rental car was waiting for us when we checked out. Checking out was easy and uneventful. The only issue we had was leaving......we didn't want to leave!!!

The owners were warm and wonderful, we enjoyed seeing them and talking to them.

Excellent location, rooms and staff. The rooms were very clean and the staff helped us with finding places to dine, information about shopping and travel. Would be difficult to find a room for this value in Florence.

NOt sure what you already have, can't remember. However you should include that it is family owned and you are treated very well. They are even helpful getting museum reservations or of being of ANY assistance.

We were pleased with the room, very quiet, clean and modern. Great location, easy access to all sights, and quiet even though so close to the Duomo. The breakfast room was lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful. A friend recommended this hotel to us and we would do the same. We would stay here again on future visits to Florence.

Our welcome was exceptional and the person at the front desk spoke great english so communication was not a problem at all.

The only additional suggestion I would have would be to give directions on parking, where and how as it was not possible to drive directly to the hotel. The check in was easy, the staff were prepared and knew of us and our arrival.

A picture of the bathroom intended for disabled persons. That will help people who uses a wheelchair (like me) to judge for themselves whether the arrangements are satisfactory for their handicap.

Driving in Florence is a nightmare ... and parking is an additional expense. I would definitely take a taxi to the hotel as it is in a very confusing, congested area. The hotel itself is in a terrific location for seeing the central city.

The hotel was convenient for sightseeing and shopping, but not a place to which I'd drive my car again.
The room was clean and quiet. However, there was a view of an apartment building with laundry hanging on the balconies. Bathroom was well done and clean, and the beds were comfortable.
The staff was very helpful, and a very accomodating young man, who worked for the hotel, drove my car to the carpark as I was totally unnerved by the traffic in the area.
I would give them A for the 4 C's: Courtesy, convenience, comfort, and cleanliness.

Benivieni was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our recent trip to Europe. The staff were extremely friendly, spoke perfect English and went out of their way to assist us with our search for a suitable day tour.
The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were very new and extremely well equipped. We would definitely stay there again if we were to return to Florence.

The buffet breakfast was not available during my stay, but instead they served breakfast in my room. The only disadvantage to that was that I did not know all of the options that would have been available on the buffet, and did not request them.
